Format Baseband and DUW and recovering

the Configuration from Downloaded CV


Step 1 :- login to baseband or DUW by
moshell
Step 2 :- Start FTP server OR Free FTP
Step 3 :- use command (cvls) NO. of CVs saved inside
Node
Step 4 :- in BaseBand use command (acc brmbackup=(NO. of
last CV BRM backup) export) for get baseband backup.
Step 4 :- in DUW get c2&d as a backup may some time
you have to rollback .
Step 5 :- use command (cvms (name of CV)) for Save Config
before formatting baseband inside node.
Step 6 :- use command (cvls) for check if
your CV saved or not
Step 7 :- Use command (cvget (name of your CV) ~/) for
download your CV from node to your computer
Note :-
You Have to copy this directory may you can’t find this file in your computer if you use Ubuntu , the directory
that baseband or DUW writes to you and copy it on an notepad and save it

Step 8 :- format baseband
( if Board restore not available just write this command it will be available )
set secM=1,LocalAccessM=1 emergencyRestore 1
Step 8 :- format DUW
Step 9 :- In BaseBand download script to baseband
download script completed (node up
trap sent) go to moshell
Step 9 :- in DUW Put Basic c2&d ( version 21.Q4.C1)
Step 10 :- Before activate integration Mode ( before
Unlock the License ) you have to check Clock , by
commands
BaseBand : date
DUW : readclock

If have problem in DU Clock To check and set NTP Server
get . ntp
set Transport=1,Ntp=1,NtpFrequencySync=1 syncServerNtpIpAddress RNC-NTP-IP Address
For example 10.36.7.19
Step 11 :- In BaseBand use command
(acc integration activate ) for activate integration unlock
Step 11 :- In DUW

license iu activate
Step 12 :- BaseBand Or DUW use command ( cvput (the
location of CV that you are already have copy in a text file ) )

Directory
Use command (cvls) now you have your
CV inside node
Step 13 :- In BaseBand use command (cvre
(name of your cv )) for restore the site by
uploading cv
Step 13 :- In DUW use command (acc
ConfigurationVersion=1 forcedRestore ) Then
( CVName ) then 1

Step 14 :- Just DUW use command (acc
ConfigurationVersion=1 CancelRestore )

If Don’t do this step you can’t Create New


CV
Finally baseband rebooted automatically after
reboot site was up check with NMC and then
Check with Our or Korek Back office to check
all license features.
