EVENT
PROPOSAL

I. TITLE: Intramurals

II. Date: January 27-28, 2023

III. Venue: Indahag Elementary School

IV. PARTICIPANTS: IES STUDENTS

V. PROPONENTS: SALDI P. VITORILLO

VI. RATIONALE:

The intramural program is one of the most important events on


school’s activities. The basic education includes sports in
curriculum that will help students develop teamwork, cooperation,
unity and sportsmanship. This event will also enhance student’s skills
and abilities in different sports event. This will also help
encourage students to avoid other vices through participating to
the games includes in the intramurals and build potential players
and athletes to the future. The students of IES are quality
players and very much willing to participate in different event.

VII. OBJECTIVES

1. To develop the skills of the students in different sports and help


develop self-confidence.

2. To promote sports management relationship between teachers and to


the school.

3. To encourage students to join different sports event and


encourage to have unity, respect sportsmanship, and cooperation.

VIII. Overall rules and regulations in the Intramurals

1. All teams must have TEAM COORDINATOR and Team Coach for the
security and other concerns by their team, players and the
management.

2. ALWAYS APPLY SPORTMANSHIP. The decision making regarding the


tensions during play like late calls, delaying time, swapping of
players, and other faults will be the concern of officiating officials.

3. PETITION of players will be 1 day before the game schedule of


the concerned team/s. The team must file petition letter to the
management or intramurals committee.

4. PLAYERS must wear their respected uniforms during the game.


Volleyball games compose of 12 players each team. In volleyball,
they must choose numbers 1-12 only for their jersey number.
Basketball games compose of 12 players each team. In basketball any
number in their jersey or uniform.

5. ALL STUDENTS are required to have their ATTENDANCE CARD for


intramurals. Attendance is composed of AM and PM column to be
signed during intramurals by their assigned Team Coordinator.

IX. TOURNAMENT PATTERN: Single Elimination
