Annex 10 Examination of certificates and documents

At the initial inspection the Port State Control Officer will, as a minimum and to the extent applicable,
examine the following documents:

.2 Certificate of Registry or other document of nationality (UNCLOS);
.3 Certificates as to the ship's hull strength and machinery installations issued by the
classification society in question (only to be required if the ship maintains its class
with a classification society);
