Okay next class is Dribbling
but what is dribbling?
Very good
Class dribbling in basketball is
a skill that you should master. It
allows you to move around \
the court while you’re in
possession of the ball. It is a
legal method that allows you to
progress to make a score. This
move involves bouncing the ball
off the floor with your hands as Sir because you have to run to perform

court.
Don’t involve the whole hand to
avoid losing control of the ball.
Don’t keep your fingers in touch
with each other while dribbling.
Spread your fingers to allow full
control of the ball as it dribbles.
Dribble on one side of your body,
not in front.
While dribbling in one hand, use
the other hand to drive your
defender away from the ball.
Class what are the three ways
to pass the ball?
Very good!
So class why do we need to
pass the ball?
Sir, There are different skills needed in
Very good! playing basketball, Shooting, dribbling,
passing, running and rebounding. And
Class Passing is a skill that there are the thing to remember in
maximizes the player’s shooting, dribbling, passing, running and
involvement to set up a play to rebounding to improve the skills in
earn successful throw on the basketball
basket and earn score of the
team.
Class Chest pass, a pass that
involves passing the ball from the
chest level going to the
teammate’s chest level.
Class Bounce pass, the act of
throwing the ball to the
receivers side bouncing it in the
floor toward him/her.
Class Overhead pass, a pass
initiated from the forehead
going to a teammate.
Class next is Rebounding,
who’s the king of rebound?
Very good!
Class Rebounding is one of
the major skills of the game. It is
your ability to jump with power to
gain possession of the ball as it
bounces to the rim after a failed
shot before it touches the floor.
Just how important is
rebounding? Whenever you grab
is bound, your team gains a
chance to shoot again while the
other team actually loses it. The
difference is double. A wise man
said “you control the rebound,
you control the game”.
Class what makes a good
rebound?
Very good!
Class here’s how you can
improve your rebounding skills in
basketball:
Practice good footwork and
vertical leap or jumps.
Anticipate where the ball will
land.
The longer the shot or the harder
the rim, the farther it bounces.
If you are a soft shooter, it always
takes time to put an arc on your
shots and the ball will bounce
near the ring.
If you are a hard shooter, there’s a
little or no arc on your shots, then
the ball bounces far from the ring
Leg power and strong body are
needed in rebounding so it is
essential that strength and power
exercises should be considered to
condition your body.
Lastly is running, why running
is important in basketball?
Very good!
Running is one of the basic
skills that a basketball player
should possess. Because in this
sport, speed defines the best
player. Whether you’re on the
offensive or defensive side of the
game, passing, receiving, shooting
or rebounding a ball, you always
have to run in any way possible.
Class how do you improve
your game or skills in basketball
using technology?
Very good. That’s a wonderful
answer.
Actually Basketball Shooting
Training Aid is another amazing
device that can improve your
shooting. This device is designed
to rectify your shooting form and
shooting stance. It’s also very
effective to speed up the process
of your muscle memory and it’s
very easy to use this device.
Another one is our shoes,
Basketball shoes is so high tech
now that it can boost your vertical
