ADMISSION TO UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, WINNEBA 2022/2023 ACADEMIC YEAR, WINNEBA FULL-TIME


We are pleased to inform you that the Joint Admissions Board on behalf of the Academic Board of the University of Education,
Winneba has offered you admission to the University in the FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE EDUCATION to pursue a
programme in BACHELOR OF ARTS (ECONOMICS EDUCATION) starting from Saturday, January 07, 2023. You are placed at
LEVEL 100 of the programme. Registration begins on Monday, January 09, 2023.
1. Your Applicant Number is 230000599. Use this number to pay your fees. A Student number shall be generated for you, subsequently,
quote your student number and programme of study on all official documents.
2. You are required to make full payment of fees in the sum of TWO THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-FOUR
GHANA CEDIS (GHS 2,484.00). Fees paid are non-refundable. Pay the fees at any networked branch of Zenith Bank, GCB Bank,
CBG Bank, Prudential Bank, National Investment Bank, ADB Bank, Republic Bank or by all MoMo networks (*887*50#). You are
expected to confirm your acceptance of this offer and secure your admission to the University of Education, Winneba by paying a non-
refundable commitment fee of 30% of the fees stated before 24th December, 2022. You are required to pay the remaining 70% of your
fees for the 2022/2023 academic year before 7th January, 2023. Please inform the Teller that, you are using TRANSFLOW to pay

3. Your hall of affiliation is UNIVERSITY HALL. There are limited vacancies for accommodation on campus for interested students.
You may wish to make your own arrangements for accommodation outside the University Campus.
4. Your admission is for the 2022/2023 academic year only and if you fail to enrol or withdraw from the programme you forfeit the
admission automatically. You will be required to purchase a new voucher and make a fresh application if you intend to be considered for
admission in a subsequent year.
5. Please, note that if it is discovered subsequently that you do not possess the qualifications by virtue of which you have been offered
admission to the University, you will be withdrawn and made to face any appropriate sanctions. The original copies of your certificate(s)
and other supporting document(s) will be inspected to complete your registration.
6. You will be required to adhere to ALL University rules and regulations as contained in the Students’ Handbook. Students are
considered to be on probation for the duration of their programme and they would be dismissed at any time for unsatisfactory work or
misconduct.
7. The University reserves the right to revise its fees and other arrangements without notice.
8. It must be noted that the University is a secular institution and is not bound by the observance of any religious or sectarian practices.
As much as possible, University lectures and/or examinations would be scheduled to take place within official working days, but where
it is not feasible, lectures and examinations would be held on other days.
9. The University does not give financial assistance to students. It is therefore the responsibility of students to arrange for their own
sponsorship and maintenance during the period of study.
10. The University requires that you are declared medically fit. It would be arranged for you to be medically examined. You are
therefore required to bring your National Health Insurance Card. Your Chest X-ray Photograph will be taken at the University Clinic.
11. A change of programme is not allowed.
