    Understand vulnerabilities of wireless and other common technologies

    Part 1: View the TEDx Video “Top Hacker Shows Us How It’s Done; Pablos Holman at TEDxMidwests”
    Part 2: Answer the following questions

    Nearly every “secure” system that is used today can be vulnerable to some type of cyberattack.

    Instructions

    Part 1: View the TEDx Video “Top Hacker Shows Us How It’s Done; Pablos
    Holman at TEDxMidwests”
    a. Locate the video on the internet and watch it.
    b. Choose one of the hacks discussed by Mr. Holman in the video and use your favorite search engine to
    conduct some additional research on the hack.
    c. For the hack chosen in Step 1b, answer the questions below. Be prepared to share your work in a full
    class discussion.

    Part 2: Answer the following questions.


    Questions:

    a. What is the vulnerability being exploited?

    The method, typically through a code or tool, through which the vulnerability is exposed. The results could be
    severe, compromising your data and giving online criminals unrestricted access to the systems, code, and other
    sensitive information of your business, depending on the vulnerability that was exploited.

    b. What information, data, or control can be gained by a hacker exploiting this vulnerability?

    People's passwords can be accessed by hackers. Through the Bluetooth antenna attached to the phony rifle, he can
    command people's Wi-Fi networks, giving him complete control. How is the hack performed.

    c. What about this particular hack interested you specifically?

    It caught my interest since it has a special set of tools for gathering passwords from persons who use weapons to
    shoot out windows and target Wi-Fi.

    d. How do you think this particular hack could be mitigated?

    First you can understand the risk and the threats you may suffer because of your being exposure. Once you know the
    plan of enemies you have a ability to disrupt your network and that is the good thing that you can do.
