Assignment 2

This document contains 6 questions regarding the use of finite element analysis methods like Galerkin's method and Rayleigh-Ritz method to solve differential equations representing mechanical and thermal problems. The questions involve deriving element level equations to model beams, bars, and heat conduction using these methods under given boundary conditions and loadings.
