    FOR GOODNOTES
    Please note that these instructions describe using
    planner in GoodNotes app on iPad. But you can
    also use it in any other annotation apps (Notability,
    Noteshelf, etc.) on other tablet devices.

    HOW TO DOWNLOAD
    1 AND IMPORT YOUR FILES
    Below I explain how to download your files from Etsy, save to
    your iPad, and open them in an app like GoodNotes.

    1. Download Files f rom Etsy

    * Please note that f iles currently cannot be downloaded f rom


    the Etsy app, only web browsers like Safari.

    If you have an Etsy account, after your purchase you’ll see a “View
    your digital f iles now” link which goes to the Downloads page.

    If you checked out as a guest, you’ll f ind a link to download your


    purchase in the receipt email that was sent to you after checkout.

    From there, you can click on "You"(top right) and select "Purchas-
    es and Reviews". From this page, f ind the order and click "Down-
    load f iles"(to the right of the order).

    2. Save Files to iPad

    If you’re downloading the f ile in Safari, "Downloads" button will


    appear next to the address bar at the top of the browser.
    Tap on the download and it will open the f ile in your Files app.

    3. Import into GoodNotes

    1. Locate your downloaded f ile in the Files app on iPad.


    2. Tap on any ZIP f iles to uncompress them f irst.
    3. Tap and hold on a f ile to reveal the options menu. Tap Share.
    4. Locate and tap the Open in GoodNotes option.
    This is where you can select a different note taking app like
    Notability or Xodo if you prefer. If the option to open in an
    app is not appearing in the Share Sheet, tap More • • • or Edit
    Actions. Locate app in the list and turn on the switch to the
    right.
    5. In GoodNotes, select where you would like to save your f ile.
    Import.

    You can also import the f ile directly within the GoodNotes app.
    To do that:
    Tap the + button on the home screen (bookshelf) and tap Import.
    The Files app will open up automatically. Locate the PDF or
    GoodNotes f ile and tap to import it into the app.

    For the hyperlinks and tabs to work on GoodNotes, please en-


    sure the "Read-Only" option is selected.

    This planner has 10 CUSTOM SECTIONS. Tapping on one of


    them will bring you to blank page. Name it and design it as you
    wish. Think of this page as a "divider". You are f ree to add any
    pages you want after this divider.

    HOW TO COSTOM YOUR
    3 PLANNER PAGES
    Below I explain how to copy and paste a page template to a
    specific location in your planner.

    1. Go to the page you want to duplicate.


    2. Tap on the • • • icon at the top right corner, select "Copy
    Page"

    3. Turn to where you’d like to insert the new page.


    4. Tap the Add Page icon and select Paste Page.
    You can toggle between the “Before” and “After ” settings to
    determine where the page is placed.

    CUSTOMIZING THE PAGE
    You can have a blank canvas for creating your own page layout.
    Paste in JPEG and PNG images saved to your f iles or copied
    f rom the web.

    HOW TO USE STICKER


    4 BOOK

    Once you have imported the sticker book into GoodNotes,

    1. Select Lasso Tool. Draw a small lasso right on the sticker.

    2. Tap on the selection and click "Copy".

    3. Go to the desired page in your planner.

    4. While using Lasso Tool tap and hold anywhere on the page

    and select "Paste"

    6. Once pasted you are able to resize the sticker and move it

    around the page.

    HOW TO ADD COVERS
    5 Once you download the cover f iles to your iPad,
    1. In GoodNotes go to the f irst page, then tap on plus page icon
    at the upper right corner.
    2. Choose "Before" and tap on "Import"
    3. Navigate to where you saved your cover JPG or PNG f ile and
    select it.
    4. If you wish to customize the cover, you can copy-paste the
    Planner sticker on top of the cover.
