Mechanics Test

1. Mechanics is the study of forces and their effects on motion. It is applied in mechanical, civil, and chemical engineering fields to understand forces in machines, structures, and industrial processes. 2. A coplanar force system has all forces lying in the same plane. A non-coplanar system has forces not all in one plane. Parallel systems have forces all parallel while non-parallel systems do not. 3. Statics deals with objects at rest under the influence of forces. Dynamics deals with objects in motion under forces and includes kinematics (motion without forces) and kinetics (motion with forces).
