Unit 5 - Present continuous
Present continuous – we use it to talk about things/actions which
are happening NOW. FORM: am, is, are + verb – ing am not, isn’t, aren’t + verb – ing She is writing now/at the moment. We aren’t drawing. SPELLING RULES: R1 – write -> writing We cut the “-E” when we add –ING. R2 – cut -> cutting, swim -> swimming If the verb is short and it ends in consonant-vowel-consonant, we double the last letter.
