Film review is a way to assess a film's quality and determine if it is worth recommending. It encompasses personal reactions and objective analysis of technical aspects. To write an effective review, one should watch the film twice and take detailed notes, conduct research on the filmmakers and background, analyze the film, draft an outline, and write a well-structured review with an introduction, two body paragraphs summarizing the plot and providing critique, and a conclusion stating an overall opinion and recommendation. The review should express opinions supported by valid reasons while avoiding revealing too many plot details or the ending.
