I would like to express my gratitude to my professor, Adelaida T. Millanes,

Ed D. who made my work possible. Her guidance and advice carried me through all
the stages of answering my portfolio. I would also like to thank the authors of the
Field Study 2, Maria Rita D. Lucas, PhD, a teacher educator and an early childhood
education practitioner and advocate; Milagros Lim- Borado, PhD, the formater
Director of the Professional and Continuing Education (PACE); Purita P. Bilbao, Ed
D , a curriculum specialist and consultant, a resource speaker and a teacher
education; and Brenda B. Corpuz,, PhD, a recipient of Outstanding Professional of
the Year Award for letting us use their FS 2 book as our reference in answering our
portfolio.

Secondly, I would also like to thanks the school head of Naval Elementary
School, Mr. Ronnie Perez for letting us be a part of their growing family. And for
letting us observe their respective teachers. I would also like to thank my parents for
their unconditional love and support, and for providing me financially, morally and
spiritually.

Finally, I would like to thank God, for letting me through all the difficulties
I’ve encountered during my observation and assistantship. I have felt your presence
and your guidance day by day. I will keep on trusting you for my future.
My Reflection

In Field Study 1 The students focused on observation, analysis and reflection,

while in Field Study 2, the student takes a more active role and gets involved in the
teaching- learning process. The student continues to be a keen observer but
simultaneously participates in the tasks involved in the different aspects of the of the
instructional process. It provides activities that will allow the students to master the
required standards for Filipino Teachers based on the PPST.

As a Field Student 2 student, I have given an opportunity to be involved in an

actual teaching-learning process which makes me gain necessary knowledge and
skills that will greatly help and make me a better teacher in the future, specifically in
Classroom Management and Strategies on how to make the classroom safe and
conducive to learning. As an educator, it is our responsibility to cater the needs of
our students in the different aspects. We must teach them wholeheartedly and with
our best.

Field Study 2 helps to develop my skill to link theory with practice and develop
the teacher-researcher disposition within me. I would use this experience to my
future endeavor.
