Virtual Assistant
Virtual Assistant
Introduction
Identify the key issues in the case study. Provide a thesis statement.
Today, iPhone users and fans of the Apple manufacturer are numerous
all over the world. Besides, we can't help but mention Siri, a virtual
assistant programmed into the company's phone.
Background
Analyze the identified issues from the case study. Why do they exist? How do they impact the
organization or society? Who is responsible for them?
As we mentioned, Siri is a built-in voice-controlled personal virtual assistant for Apple users. The
idea here is that you talk to her like a friend. Siri is meant to help you get things done, whether
it's making dinner reservations or sending drum messages.
Siri is an advanced type of AI artificial intelligence. She's designed to give you a way to
seamlessly interact with your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple Watch, HomePod, or Mac by
having you talk back and forth with her. Thereby helping you find or do what you need. You can
ask Siri questions, tell her to show you something, or command her to do something on your
behalf.
Siri has access to every other built-in app on your Apple device – Correspondence, Contacts,
Messages, Maps, Safari, SmartHome, and more. – and will ask those apps to present data,
control, search through their database whenever she needs it. In the end, Siri does all the work
for you.
Siri is based on the fields of Artificial Intelligence AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP). She
includes three components of conversational interface, individual context awareness, and
service assignment.
The chat interface is about how Siri understands you in the first place. The general operations of
word-for-word speech recognition must be good to hear what you are saying but decoding the
meaning is completely dependent on statistics and machine learning. That's where the personal
context-aware system comes in.
There's a lot of work in Siri that can predict what you're doing based on the keywords you use.
As well as your common language and habits. She is designed to adapt to your personal
preferences over time and personalize the results.
Currently, Siri has not developed Vietnamese. But because Google has now integrated
Vietnamese, we can predict that in 2020 or 2021, Siri will be supported. Having Vietnamese
language support will make it easier for you to control your Smart Home with your voice.
