Introduction

Dream clarity is the awareness that you are dreaming. This awareness ranges
from a small awareness of facts to a vast expansion of horizons. A lucid dream is
usually when you suddenly find yourself dreaming in the middle of your normal dream.
This is called a trauma-induced invention dream. A lucid dream with wakefulness occurs
when you transition from your normal wakefulness to dreaming directly without loss of
consciousness. Either way, dreams tend to be stranger and more emotional than
regular dreams. Most importantly, you have at least some ability to control your "dream
self" and the dreams of those around you.

Lucid dreaming is an interpretative problem, a non-verbal condition whose

manifestation does not require verbal explanations. The strategy of articulating a theory
of lucid dreaming requires transduction to an alternative mode of consciousness. This
means that researchers must also have expertise in the direct experience of the
phenomena.

Statement of the Problem

This study aimed to know the causes and feelings of lucid dreaming. Especially, it
attempts to answer the following questions.

Literature Review

In a lucid dream, the dreamer is aware that they are dreaming. While the dream
is still happening according to a recent meta-analysis by Saunders et al. (2016).

According to Tholey (1977) and LaBerge et al. (1981). Lucid dreaming is a

dream state characterized by the dreamer’s awareness of being in a dream and the
awareness of choice.

This study aimed to describe and model neurophysiological evidence for the
seven awareness criteria of lucid dreaming based on those proposed by Paul Tholey.

The activation of the working memory could allow lucid dreamers to analyze the
dream content about their identity, memory, and dream environment and decide and
plan behaviors according to individual preferences. Ogilvie et al. (1978).

According to Dresler et al. (2012), these findings support an exceptional

brightness and visual clarity of the dream scenery which have been reported by lucid
dreamers.

Methodology

The method of collecting data used was the face-to-face survey. Since there is a face-
to-face class going on we, did to survey for it. The aim is to save time with the use of an
expensive method. We distributed a questionnaire with a series of open-ended
questions during the survey.

Conclusion

We conclude that lucid dreaming comes from different emotions that can cause
lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming could come with negative consequences. The most
concerning potential dangers of lucid dreaming are disruptive sleep and mental health
issues. Therefore lucid dreaming is it depends on how they dream, many reasons cause
lucid dreaming like emotions, there are different emotions like sadness and happiness.
Lucid dreaming feels like they are conscious in their dream it’s a weird feeling that you
know you are inside of your dream.
