Chapter 1 Inspection on arrival
Strict inspection and packing are done before delivery. Open the carton for
inspection for the following items as damage may occur during transportation.
Make sure there is no damage for the machine and cable connection.

Installation
1. Place the machine on flat and firm ground. Level it with gradienter.

Use the screws to keep the machine level.
② Install the dust collecting hood on the spindle and fix it on the base.

2. Input three-phase power, start the dust collector to see if the motor rotation
direction is same as indicated, if not, exchange of any two lines will fix the
problem.

S
MA
After choosing all axes, then it is shown as below that all axes are back to zero.
Tool adjustment
Switch on the cylinder and the positioning cylinders raise. Confirm the
coordinate origin of work-piece, normally it is at the lower left quarter. Put the
work-piece on the table, turn on vacuum switch to see if the work-piece can be
sucked tightly. Then switch off the cylinder for the next step.
S
Switch on cylinder1 in the system and move spindle T1 to the working area.
MA
Move X, Y and Z axes so that the tool center points to the lower left quarter of
the work-piece and the tip of the tool touches the surface of the work-piece.
Right-click "CNC status" then "offset setup" pops up. Press the button "set
X, Y axes" to complete the Tool1 coordinates setting. And fill the displayed data
into the "tool length offset"; complete the coordinates settings of Z axis.
S
MA
There is no need to set the coordinate offset of X and Y axes for T2. T2 needs
to touch the surface of the work-piece only. Adjust the tools once then the
system can keep the data automatically. Re-check the tool length offset after
changing tools or work-pieces. (T3 repeats the steps for T2 tool adjustment. )
Press F7 or left click on the icon "back to coordinate origin of work-piece " then
X and Y axes will move to the coordinate origin while Z axis will stop at the set

1 Maintenance
Each machine has a run-in period. Please use low speed to run the machine in
the first three months. The control cubicle should be well ventilated. And clean

Clean the dust during daily work. Remember to lubricate the machine.
Especially the friction and rotating parts like bar screw, sliding block and

bearing. Otherwise it will affect the product quality and service life.
Way to maintain:

The control case should be positioned at a well ventilated place. Do not put it in
Keep the control case dry and clean. It is easy for the electric parts to be short
out or lead to fire if the control case stay in wet or high temperature situation.
4.24 Maintenance of main motor: In air cooling spindle please check the
main spindle fan if it is heat dissipating normally. Clean the dust in the fan
regularly. Prevent the water getting into the motor. In water cooling spindle

2. If you choose hard water for working liquid, it should be melted. Or wash the
vacuum pump by solvent regularly.

way, the pump cannot be damaged although it stop running for a long time
6. If the vacuum pump has stopped using for about 4 weeks, first you should
evacuate the pump according to Item 3. Then input 0.5L preservative oil into
the pump from suction inlet or exhausting outlet and try to run it for a short
time.

Use of tools
1. All the tools provided by New Mas are designed for clockwise rotation
operation.
2. Choose the suitable chucks and do not use the ones with fracture surface,
deformation, severe wear or inner hole with taper to avoid vibration of knife

properly. Need to fix the tools properly or replace the chuck. Replace the
tools in time and avoid blunt tools which may lead to accidents.

4. Use the right cutting speed and stock removal according to different
materials and tools for longer service life of the tools. Use low working
speed for bigger tools and finish the cutting in several times instead of one.
Maintenance of tools
1. Keep the tools clean and clean with special solvent for the filth and rust.
2. Apply moderate mechanical oil to the tools to prevent rust on the surface.
