Organization of MOBO Emergency Response Team (MERT) and Planning Workshop (on January
18, 2018, 8:00 a.m. @ Municipal Library, Mobo, Masbate.

The said activity is anchored on:

1. forming a response team and assign responsibilities as one of the crucial steps
in emergency response planning;
2. acting as extended arm and response unit of the LDRRMO on the preparation, mitigation,
response and recovery PPAs of the office and the LGU.
3. be familiar with the roles and responsibilities of emergency response team members;
4. craft a by-laws and operational manual of the organization that will be used to formally
acknowledge the organization by the Sangguniang Bayan;
5. draft an emergency response program/plan.
