Opportunity

The Caffeine Cafe will be a specialty coffee shop in Purok 8 Donya Rosario

Agusan Del Norte, offering direct-trade coffee, tea, simple meals, and TCP

merchandise. The cafe will provide traditional specialty coffee beverages such as

cappuccinos, lattes, macchiatos, and cortados, as well as flavor shots and milk

substitutes. The 40 stores collaborate to bring in customers from the surrounding

regions and create a one-of-a-kind shopping and dining experience. The Agusan Del

Norte has 40 coffee shops, with 55 percent of them being specialty coffee shops that

cater to the hip, modern interiors that the millennial generation demands. The caffeine

Cafe will appeal to the audience of caffeine-lovers who appreciate the social side of

obtaining coffee in a unique environment, with lot of seating and a modern, industrial-

style décor in its 200-square-foot retail location.

Expectation

In order, to reach a big part of our target market, The Caffeine Cafe will engage a

social media manager to promote the company on Instagram and Facebook. The

Caffeine Cafe's social media promotions will highlight the high-quality items it offers, as

well as the company's objective to create the world's greatest coffee shop experience

with the finest products, most inviting shops, friendliest employees, and best value. The

Caffeine Cafe will obtain its coffee from direct-trade roasters that produce ethically

sourced coffees. This methodology ensures that farmers are fairly compensate at the
point of origin. The Caffeine Cafe’s pricing will be comparable to its main competitor,

Tea Mayo, Puesto De Cafe and Richdale Cafe, while maintaining a 75% gross margin.

Our competitive edge will be our ability to provide the best coffee shop experience

possible with the best quality and nicest employees at the best possible price.

The Caffeine Cafe will invest 150,000 pesos in its first year of operation. The first year's

revenue is predicted to be 220,000 pesos, with an annual growth rate of 7.5 percent.

Net profits are expected to reach 65,000 pesos in the first year and grow 7.5% to

83,000 pesos in the fifth year.

The most common problem that every coffee shop owner is lack of

identity and a dull competitive edge especially when your business is just starting.

Coffee shops can be found on seemingly every corner, so it’s important for coffee shop

owners to establish an identity for their establishments. This means identifying the type

of customers you want to attract.

This will have a great impact in the business. Advertising in Facebook

and Instagram can help boost the business and gain more costumers because

nowadays most people used social media and advertising in social media is a great

help to the business. Most of the students like to study in coffee shops especially

college students.

Target Market

The millennial population ages 18-36 comprises a large portion of The Caffeine

Café’s target market. Millennials are more active on social media and are more likely

than their elders to seek out a modern coffee shop to spend time in after school or

during work breaks. The Caffeine Café will hire a social media manager to promote the

business via Instagram and Facebook, in order to reach a large segment of our target

market. Promotions on social media will focus on the quality products offered in

Caffeine Café.

Puesto De Cafe – they most likely offer different flavor of Milk Tea and

Snacks and they are available for dine in and take out.

Richdale Café- is located in XG2Q+CJJ, T. Calo St, Butuan City, Agusan Del
Norte. They offers snack and variety of coffee. They are also
available for dine in and take out.
Fab Cafe – is located in Ysquare 382 T. Calo St, Butuan City, Agusan Del

Norte. They offers rice meals, snack and coffee. It is available

for dine in and take out.

This is a Partnership between Eber, M.M.Grace and
Team

Princess have been brewing coffee for over 5 years and she learned by herself because
she work on a café in her High School. M.M. and Diane have successfully worked at
local coffee shops perfecting their craft. Through trial and error, many mistakes and
lessons learned, Cafffeine Café has found its image and company strategy that has
primed them for success.

Aside from M.M. and Diane, they will employ the following qualified individuals to ensure
the success for its next two locations:

 A total of 11-12 part time baristas (2-3 per shift, 2 shifts 7 days a week)
 3-4 shift managers to oversee operations per shift
 1 social media and website manager

Financial Plan
Forecast

Food costs are assumed at 25% for coffee beverages and 50% for retail beans
and pastries. Proximity to the University campus will dictate certain sales seasonality
with revenues slightly decreasing during the school vacation periods.
