SOPHIA’S BREAD & PASTRIES

Introduction

The products being sold in Sophia's includes various desserts and


beverages. It is located at Palompon, Leyte having two branches extended in the
said location. This bakery is an establishment that produces and sells flour-based
food baked such as bread, cookies, cakes, pastries, and pies.

Sophia's type of production system used was batch production. This bakery
typically produces batches of many different goods, using the same machinery.
It's reason was to save time and streamline the process, teams usually make the
dough in batches. Then, all the batches go in the oven at once. As we observed
the production system as well managed. They're planning, organizing, controlling
and other operations goes along really well. They effectively executed those
things out that made them extend their brands from one location to another.
Their production has well maintained, the utilizes enough resources that fitted
will on their business. It's manpower capacity is enough and wasn't looking for
employees since they've hired enough sources of manpower. Which has generally
and effectively work suitably on different field of production. Materials are all
good and provided by the company continuously as it provides commodities to
support activity and increasing production of products. We believe they are open
for suggestions and feedback from customers. It exists often lead to the
respective social media pages and accounts.
