LESSON PROPER:
ACTIVITY
The teacher will group the students in to four groups. Each group will be given a brown envelope.
Inside the envelop are the steps in making different styles of Table Napkin Folding. After 5 minutes the
students will choose two representatives to report and demonstrate the assign style in front of the class.
ANALYSIS
The teacher will check the presentation of each group using the rubric.
ABSTRACTION
Discuss the term “Table Napkin Folding”, its importance and use.
As the teacher demonstrate the steps/procedure of the different styles in Napkin Folding. The students
shall understand and be able to follow the steps correctly.
Give a short history about Table Napkin Folding
THE CANDLE
1. Fold the top point down to the bottom point. Smoothing it lat.
2. Fold 2” of napkin down towards the point
3. Flip the napkin over while rotating it ¼ turn to the right.
4. Staring at the bottom roll the napkin up into the candle shape.
5. Stand the napkin up and tuck the last edge of the fold
into the cuff. Let it stand.
APPLICATION
The teacher will give 10 minutes to let the students practice the four different styles in Table Napkin
Folding. After that, the students will perform together the different folding styles and the teacher will
assist the students.
IV. EVALUATION
1. What do you call a square piece of cloth or paper used at a meal to wipe the fingers or lips and to protect garments,
or to serve food on?

1. Make a research about the different styles of table napkin folding.
2. Find the steps of pyramid, and wine coaster napkin folding. Print in a short bond paper with picture and pass it on
our next meeting.
