PRE-LESSON: (10 minutes)


1. Teacher greets the pupils.
2. Teacher writes a question on the whiteboard.
Question: What three words do you think best describe your family?
3. Teacher chooses two pupils to share their answer.
4. Teacher explains the topic of the day.

LESSON DEVELOPMENT: (40 minutes)


1. Teacher distributes worksheet to the pupils.
Instruction: Match each family member of ‘The Family Madrigal’ with their own
power correctly based on the song. The song will be played twice.
2. Teacher gives 10 minutes for the pupils to answer the worksheet.
3. Teacher divides pupils into groups of five.
4. Teacher distributes a fair number of paragraphs from ‘Tale of The Devouring Rock’ to
each group.
Instruction: Each group will be taking turn in telling the story of ‘Tale of The
Devouring Rock’ in front of the class. As a narrator, you should read with the right
mood and tone.
5. Each group takes turn in reading the ‘Tale of The Devouring Rock’ in front of the class.

POST-LESSON: (10 minutes)


1. Teacher recaps the lesson.
2. Teacher picks a pupil to state a moral value from the lesson.
3. Teacher dismisses the class.
