COURSE DESCRIPTION : GE (Living in the IT Era) This course explains how the influence of Information Technology defines the way we
live today. Identify the different discoveries and inventions on computers that help mold Information Technology
as we know it. It talks about the science, culture, and ethics of information technology, its influence on modern
living and human relationships, and its uses for personal, professional, and social advancement through MS
Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications.

At the end of the course, the students will:


1. Exhibit general knowledge of Information Technology that includes an understanding of ICT, computer literacy, netiquette, computer ethics,
and graphics design.
2. Apply their computer skills through MS Word and PowerPoint outputs.
