include strikes, blocks, disarms, and grappling techniques. These movements can be used as a
form of physical fitness activity by incorporating them into drills, sparring, and other training
exercises. Additionally, Arnis training can include exercises such as footwork, body
conditioning, and strength training to improve overall fitness and physical conditioning.
Some specific manipulative movements that can be used for physical fitness activities in
Arnis include:
Striking techniques, such as strikes with the hands, feet, and weapons (e.g., sticks,
knives, swords)
Blocks and parries, which involve using the weapon or the body to defend against
incoming attacks
Disarming techniques, which involve taking an opponent's weapon away
Grappling techniques, which involve close-range fighting, such as joint locks and
throws
Footwork, which includes movement patterns and footwork drills that improve
coordination, balance, and agility
