1. RIBBON:
It consists of different types of tabs; these tabs include different menus that
provide different types of tools or operations for text.
Ribbon’s tabs include;
Home tab
Insert tab
Design tab
Layout tab etc.
2. DOCUMENTATION AREA:
The blank area of MS word where we can write
the text, insert pictures or any graphical objects.
3. TITLE BAR:
It shows the current opened file’s name
6. FORMATTING TOOLBAR:
Can be used to apply formatting on selected text for example it provides
options like
Font style to change font
Font Size to change font’s size eg 8 to 72
to bold text
provides bullets
and many other options/operations for text
7. STATUS BAR
9. MS WORD CURSOR:
It is a blinking line that indicates where the next character ,object or symbol will be
inserted in a document.
It can be moved using the mouse or keyboard
