Coaxial cable is recommended over twisted pair cable for the telecom engineer's company due to its ability to carry high frequency signals with thick insulation shielding against noise, transmit data at a faster rate, and handle multiple voice channels over high frequencies as required. While coaxial cable is more expensive to install, it is lighter weight and easier to install than twisted pair cable.

As a telecom engineer, I would suggest to use coaxial cable over twisted pair
cables, because of various features that are available within coaxial cables they
are better to use instead of twisted pair cables.
Coaxial Cables can carry high frequency signals due to thick insulation that
surrounds it, and hence provides shield against noise. Coaxial Cables can transmit
data at a high rate which can be much faster than twisted pair cable.
As our Company required a wired medium that can support multiple voice
channels over high frequencies, Coaxial cables can handle various channels.
Although, coaxial cables are expensive to install, but they are easy to install and
locate. A coaxial cable is also lighter in weight.
