QUANTITATIVE:

1) Effects of Online-Based Learning during COVID-19 Pandemic to the University of Pangasinan


Students’ Academic Performance.

Statement of the Problem


This study aims to determine the Effects of Online-Based Learning during COVID-19 Pandemic to the
University of Pangasinan Students’ Academic Performance.

Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions:

1. What is the level of academic performance of the students of University of Pangasinan during the
online-based learning?

2. What are the effects of online-based learning in connection with the academic performance of
the students?

3. How effective is the online-based learning during COVID-19 Pandemic?

4. Is there a significant difference between face-to-face learning and online-based learning in the
students’ academic performance?

2) Association of Family Functionality and Resources to Risk of Depression Among Level 2


students.

Statement of the Problem


This study aims to identify the association of family functionality and resources to the risk of
depression among level 2 students of University of Pangasinan.

Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions:

1. What is the profile of the respondent in terms of;


1.1 Age;
1.2 Sex;

2. What is the relationship of family functionality and resources to risk of depression among level 2
students of University of Pangasinan in terms of:
2.1 Family size;
2.2 Family income;

3. What solutions could be proposed to manage or prevent the risk of depression among
students?
3) Assessment of Level 2 Students’ Level of Anxiety in Distance Learning Modalities.

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to determine the assessment of level 2 students' level of anxiety in distance learning
modalities at University of Pangasinan.

Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions:

1. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of:

1.1 age;
1.2 sex; and
1.3 learning materials available at home

2. What is the relationship of level 2 students' level of anxiety in distance learning modalities?

3. How do anxiety affect the academic performance of Level 2 Students in distance learning
modalities?

4. Is there a significant relationship between the profile of the level 2 students and their level of
anxiety?

QUALITATIVE:

1) Eustress vs Distress: Stress-coping Strategies of Nursing Students in Dealing with the Demand
of their Studies.

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to identify the stress-coping strategies of University of Pangasinan nursing students
in dealing with the demand of their studies.

Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions:

1. How stress affect the physical and mental well-being of nursing students?

2. What could be the common cause of stress among nursing students in University of Pangasinan?

3. What are the coping mechanism used by nursing students in dealing with the demand of their
studies?

4. How can stress-coping strategies help nursing students overcome the demand of their studies?
2) Burning out: How Continuous Workloads Affect the Mental Health of Level 2 Nursing Students

This study aims to determine the mental health issues could the level 2 nursing students manifest in
a continuous workload.

Specifically, this study seeks to answer the following questions:

1. What is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of


1.1 Gender;
1.2 Age;

2. How do the respondents perceive the effect of continuous workload on their psychological
status?

3. Is there any significant relationship to the student’s time management and burnout?

4. How is mental health associated with stress, and is this association moderated by workload?
