    TAKING THE SAT

    Everyone will have to take the SAT at least once.**

    REGISTRATION:
    1. Go to

    Here you will find general information regarding SAT registration


    and international test dates. To Register for a test or create an
    account, click on the icon for ➔ Register now.
    2. REMEMBER your USERNAME and PASSWORD (write them somewhere
    they will be safe

    3. CODES YOU WILL NEED TO USE – When you register, you are
    allowed 4 free score reports to any college/scholarship program of your
    choice. It is recommended that you take advantage of this and input the codes
    of the places you will apply to. Here are some codes you may use:

    • UAE country code = 591

    • Make sure to request an official score report be delivered to you by
    mail, you will need it for your equivalency.

    PAYMENT METHOD:
    The information for SAT fees for international
    testing is summarized below from the following

    $46 without essay, $60 with essay fee for SAT Reasoning test
    Plus, the non-US regional test fee of $47 (all fees Subject to CHANGE)
    Payable only by a valid credit card. Do not use debit or Electron cards.
    You will need your PO BOX number (do not use the school’s!)

    Keep the BLANKS and write your address as a “PO BOX number” as shown.
    AFTER REGISTRATION:
    Immediately upon registration online, save and print your Admission Ticket,
    as it holds your registration number, + Test Center, so keep it in a safe place.
    Make sure your name and address are correct. If there is a mistake in your
    name, then you may not be admitted to the test. Make sure to correct it at least
    2 weeks BEFORE the exam.

    ON THE TEST DAY:


    Arrive at Test Center by 7:30 am
    Bring the following:
    • Your Admission Ticket + Registration number
    • A valid Passport. (A photocopy is not acceptable) or valid national ID
    – originals only
    • 4 No. 2 pencils and an eraser
    • A scientific calculator
    • Snack to eat during breaks
    • The test lasts for approximately 4 hours
    HOW TO SEND YOUR SCORES AFTER
    REGISTRATION:
    If you didn’t already input the college codes upon registration (so that
    CollegeBoard will know where to send your scores) then do the following:
    1. Go to http://sat.collegeboard.com/scores to view and send your scores.
    2. Input college codes once you know where you are applying.
    3. Pay using credit card, same as you did during registration.
    4. Your scores will be sent to the colleges/programs of your choice
