    Once upon a time in West Java, Indonesia, lived a wise king who had a beautiful daughter.
    Her name is Dayang Sumbi. She is very love weaving, once she was weaving, he accidentally dropped
    the tool. Then she screamed for help.
    ” Hellooooo… anybody there?”
    “ Please help me to bring my tool..”
    Dayang Sumbi was thingking about how to get someone to help her.
    “ Hellooo… if there anyone can help me, I will give you special present. If you are female,
    I will consider you as my sister. However if you are male, I will marry you…”

    Suddenly a male dog named Tumang approached her, while brought a fallen tool, Dayang
    Sumbi was very supprised.
    “ Oh my God, why does he have to help me? “

    She very regretted her words, but she can’t deny it. So, she marry with Tumang and they are
    lived in a small village. In a months later, they had a son, his name is Sangkuriang. Sangkuriang is
    very handsome and healthy boy.

    Sangkuriang has a hobby of hunting, Sangkuriang always went hunting with Tumang.
    Sangkuriang often hunted for deer, and one day, Dayang Sumbi wanted to have a deer heart, so she
    ask Sangkuriang to hunt for a deer.
    “ Hi my son… can you hunt deer for me? “
    “ Oke, I will try to get a deer for you.. “ Sangkuriang said.

    But after several days, Sangkuriang could not find any deer. Sangkuriang was very exhausted
    and desperate. He is afraid if Dayang Sumbi will disappoint. So, he killed Tumang. Sangkuriang didn’t
    know that Tumang was his father. At home he gaves Tumang heart to Dayang Sumbi.

    “ Mom, see what I brought for you? “ Sangkuriang said.


    So, Dayang Sumbi Approached him.
    “ What is it? Did you bring deer heart for me? “ Dayang Sumbi said.
    But Dayang Sumbi knew it was Tumang heart. She was very angry and can’t control
    emotion.
    “ What are you doing? Did you kill Tumang? I’m so disappointed with you!! “
    “why you can do this? “

    She Also reppelled her son, and then sangkuriang left her mother in sadness.

    After Sangkuriang grew into a strong youngman, he back to his village, and he didn’t relize
    will meet Dayang Sumbi. At the time, Dayang Sumbi was given an enternal beauty. She looks like
    young forever. Both of them didn’t know each other. So, they fell in love and then, decided to marry.
    But then Dayang Sumbi recognized a scars on his Sangkuriang head. She knew that Sangkuriang was
    her son.
    “ Are you Sangkuriang? “ Dayang Sumbi asked very carefully.
    “ Don’t you remember me? I an your mother?

    Sangkuriang didn’t belive her, and he want to that they marry soon. Dayang Sumbi think,
    that it was impossible for them to marry.

    “ Oh my God, this can’t be done! I Cant Possible marry with my own child. “

    After thingking, Finally Dayang Sumbi made a decision that he would give sangkuriang
    difficult condition if he wanted to marry Dayang Sumbi.
    “ it’s ok, but I will give conditing to marry me. “
    “ So, I want you, to build a lake and a boat in one night, because we need for honeymoon. “
    “ Ok, I will do it for you.“ Sangkuriang agreed with the conditions.

    By midnight he must finish the lake by building a dam in citarum river. Then he started
    building the boat. When it was almost done Dayang Sumbi was worried.
    “ This can’t be happening, I have to do something. “

    So, Dayang Sumbi have idea made the lights in the east. Then the spirits thought that it was
    already done and It was time for to leaving Sangkuriang alone, because Dayang Sumbi knew without
    their help he could not finish the boat.
    “ Sorry, you are failed Sangkuriang!! “
    Sangkuriang was very angry He kicked the boat. And then the boat turned out to be Mount
    Tangkuban Perahu, it means boat upside down from a distant it looks like a boat upside down.
