NOTE Install the rails on the ceiling per the following paragraph.
Connecting the rails is performed on the ceiling in the same
way as installation of the coupling.
Fig. 11:
NOTE When replacing a MULTIX TOP with an AXIOM Aristos MX, the
MULTIX TOP ceiling rails remain attached to the Unistrut rails
and are used again!
NOTE These Unistrut nuts are not included in the shipment, but
must be provided on site.
The Unistrut nuts may be used only for Unistrut rails!
They must be hardness rated 8.8.
The M10x35 Allen screws, hardness rated 8.8 (included in the
shipment) must be threaded at least 10 mm deep into the
Unistrut nuts (if necessary, use longer Allen screws, hard-
ness rated 8.8).
• Install the two rail holders (1/Fig. 12 / p. 17) loosely at the outside mounting points
using two M10x 40 Allen screws for each (1/Fig. 13 / p. 17).

(1/Fig. 13 / p. 17).
• Insert additional Unistrut nuts in the Unistrut rails per the intended number of mounting
points (3/Fig. 12 / p. 17).
NOTE At least 4 mounting points are required for each rail. Materi-
als for a max. of 7 mounting points for each rail are included
in the shipment!
• Install the clamping block (4/Fig. 11 / p. 16) with a M10x35 screw; for this, an Allen
wrench attachment as shown in (5/Fig. 11 / p. 16) must be used.
• Take the 3 spacer gauges (1/Fig. 14 / p. 18) and (1/Fig. 15 / p. 18) out of the installa-
tion kit and install them loosely on the ceiling as shown above.
• Clamp the spacer gauges onto the rear longitudinal rail; when doing this, the end piece
(2/Fig. 14 / p. 18) must be up against the rail. To do this, lift up the tab (3/Fig. 14 / p. 18)
and lightly tighten it with the screw (4/Fig. 14 / p. 18).
• Position the front longitudinal rail so that it is also up against the end piece
(2/Fig. 14 / p. 18).
• Place the measuring gauge (1/Fig. 16 / p. 19) into the two holes (2/Fig. 16 / p. 19) in
the front longitudinal rail and place it diagonally on the rear longitudinal rail
(Fig. 16 / p. 19). Make a mark with a pencil (X/Fig. 16 / p. 19).
Fig. 16:
• In the same way (2/Fig. 15 / p. 18), cross the measuring gauge over to the holes in the
rear longitudinal rail and make an X mark on the front rail.
- The two X dimensions (Fig. 15 / p. 18) must be equal (tolerance: 2 mm). If needed,
