The CICM exemplified the missionary character of the 70 disciples after the commissioning. As a
CICM-trained Louisian, you are called to respond to the needs of the following people (UNSDG
4,10,16; PCSS 4.1):
a. Stranded stranger in the city
b. A classmate whose parents are separated
c. An elementary neighbor who cannot cope with his academics
d. A self-proclaimed agnostic
Specifically, you are tasked to identify and explain the missionary work you intend to do. Kindly
follow the template provided:
a. I will help the stranger in everything I can do. The CICM would assist the lost stranger in
the city by giving them a place to stay, food, and clothes. The CICM would also help the
stranger by offering them moral support and counseling.
b. I will help my classmate cope with their situation and advise them to use it as
motivation to strive harder. Also, the CICM can give the student counseling and
emotional support. The classmate would get assistance from the CICM in the form of
material support, such as assistance with schoolwork or food.
c. I will help my neighbor with his academics and advise him to study hard because there is
no easy way to succeed. The CICM can also offer tutoring and academic support to an
elementary-aged neighbor struggling academically. The neighbor might also benefit
from the CICM's assistance and advice regarding his emotions.
d. I will offer the person to share some words of God and educate him about God to
change his mind about his thoughts about God. The CICM would assist a self-declared
atheist by offering him spiritual direction and support. The CICM would also help the
atheist by giving him material assistance, like assisting with homework or feeding him.
