Answer the following questions based on the cut out pictures:

1. How do the pictures remind of your being a Filipino?

-The picture above depicts my whole being as a Filipino, that I am a part of a wonderful culture. A
culture full of amazing foods and places, hospitality, beautiful languages, and a wonderful homeland to
explore.

-My Filipino self consists of characteristics such as optimistic and dedicated to anything that entices my
interest. It also means being a member of a family wherein I feel safe and genuinely happy; I’m at home.

2. Are you proud of being a Filipino? Why or Why not?

-I am absolutely proud being a Filipino. I strongly believe that being a Filipino is seeing as I share a
heritage that derives from a common culture and history. I was educated from a very young age the
value of hard work and resilience, and that it is responsibility upon each individual to make the best of
every situation. Being Filipino means taking care of your family and friends, and always giving back to
your community.

3. Imagine that you were of different nationality. What would you change in you aside from your
citizenship and origin?

-I think I’ll change it in a kind of way that I really exert extra effort to excel in everything and am extra-
careful in anything; because whatever my nationality is I must I stand tall and proud. Do what I love
serving my people as long as I live under God’s perfect grace.

4. How extensive are the effects of being a Filipino in your selfhood?

-Significantly important. Being raised in the Philippines and having spent my entire life here has, of
course, had a huge impact on my self-concept. A human being’s personality/selfhood is influenced by
genetics and “environment” from a scientific standpoint. As conclusion, I can say that every part and bit
of me screams Filipino.
