Homework Kinematics

This document outlines 5 homework problems in fluid mechanics kinematics. Problem 1 involves calculating the acceleration at a point in a converging pipe with steady and increasing flow. Problem 2 involves finding the streamline equation passing through given points for 3 velocity fields. Problem 3 checks if the continuity equation is satisfied for a given velocity field and finds properties if so. Problem 4 calculates unknown velocity components so the continuity equation is satisfied for 2 cases. Problem 5 analyzes a given velocity field, finding properties like stagnation points and verifying properties like rotational/irrotational flow.
