I gladly give praise to almighty god in giving me strength to walk through my attachment

members and to ensure that I harvest the sound moral values impacted by the institution.

Abstract
The attachment commenced on 8th September 2022 whereby I was attached in department of ICT
and computer studies. The activities undertaken were based on teaching. The ending timeframe
of the attachment opportunity was projected to end on 8th December 2022.

CHAPTER 1
1.0 Introduction
Industrial attachment has always played a key role in ensuring that the experience of job market

is enriched in new career shapers. opportunity assures the relationship between an individual and

the work-related dynamics. in clearly distinguishing the need of partaking part in the attachment

opportunity then we surely appreciate the fruits of attachment exposure. The world of today is

presenting limited opportunity and the need to ensure the matching of graduate’s production into

market is cornered with the presentation of various solid opportunity such as attachment

opportunity.

The attachment in MVTC has demonstrated a significant tool in ensuring that graduates obtained

or rather gain the diverse skill in their areas of study. they have mold confident a determined

student to interact with the environment. graduates also grasp the opportunity to learn more skill

by interacting g with student and coming up with new ideas as the day goes by, improving the

power of thinking, seeing things other ways.

The institution plays pivoted role in ensuring that form four leavers and class eight drop out

acquires knowledge and skills to sustain them in the society increasing the production activities

in the country and in the society. Knowledge is the key to every success, reducing illiteracy and

recognizing new opportunity relied upon by the developing countries. Acknowledging and

embracing new technology has propelled the country in experiencing sound results in global

scale as well as regional scale

1.1 Objectives of industrial attachments
Since the industrial attachment opportunities have demonstrated pivot element in modern world,

opportunity seek to answered the following objectives;

 The industrial attachment opportunities enable student to understand expectation

experienced or presented to them by the job market.

Student are able to familiarize themselves with the objectives of organization

 It is a tool used worldwide to measure the level of relevancy on the various courses

offered in the learning institution in regard to higher level

 Attachment opportunity present the understanding of clear grasping of key knowledge on

the job market.\

 It also offers dynamic window to the various trainees in the modern world of

employment.

 Industrial attachment has also facilitated the understanding of relevancy insight

projection of the world of employment and further capitalized the information generated

into improving learning curves I higher institution

 It has also assisted student in improving cross culture communication skills so as

establish better communication.

1.2 Benefit of industrial attachment to student
Industrial attachment is the essential part of a student academic programmed and some of it

benefit includes;

 Exposing the student to demand and challenges of work place

 Gaining of practical experience

 Gaining of working ethics

 Helping the student acquire self-reliance skills

 Understand workplace expectation

2.0 location and brief history of organization
Mogotio vocational training center was started in 1974 and was officially open in 1976 by the

then his excellency Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi. It is located in seventy two acres (72 acres) of

land in Mogotio sub county, Mogotio town.

As the vocational training center, it is under Baringo county government in the ministry of

education being managed by the bord of governors. The board meet as many times as need

arises. Quorum for the meeting is two thirds.

Other committee in the institution include:

1. Tender committee

2. Disciplinary committee

3. Guiding and counselling committee

4. Academic committee

To be the center of excellency in the training of technical, entrepreneurship and

vocational skills for self- reliance., industrial and national developments.

The attachment opportunity enabled me to attain numerous skills set which am sure will go long way in
ensuring that I champion team work in work environment and Forster the expectation objectives of the
organization.

I learned how to be punctual at work place, attending classes in time and ensuring I finished assigned
work before end of the day.

 Teamwork

Team work is key value in institution or any other organization, I learned the importance of teamwork
for it ease work.

4.0 Problem encountered and suggestion
4.0.1 Problem encountered during attachment
I was able to encounter minimal challenges which they did not limit my engagement. The only

challenge I encounter during my attachment operation were simply the inability to access vital

information due to nature of sensitivity.

The attaches are stuck doing activities or duty for long period of time thus limiting their exposure

and promoting monotony, there are a lot of duplicate work.

4.0.2 Suggestion for improvement


There is always need in identifying various technical improvement in work related engagement

and it is through my utmost engagement that I tent to address the following suggestions;

 The duration of the opportunity should be oved upscale so as to ensure fully

understanding of the relevant technicalities in specific functioning of the computer

department.

 Attachment opportunities should be more engagement since the opportunity is more

important to the future of the attachés.

 Employees should be more present to the attaches so as to ensure corporate among the

employees, the attachés.

 There is need to ensure that the relationship between the attache1s and the management

to be cultivated so as to offer mentorship services to attachés.

 There is need to create transparency at ICT department in the organization.

5.0 Conclusion
I appreciate MVTC I institute for granting me the opportunity to be part of their organization in

ensuring I attain relevant technical skills in computer studies and ICT department. I also thank

the head of science department for believing in me and giving me chance to teach science. the

opportunity has made me realize the important of guiding, being a leader and showing student

what to do. it has made me to be confident in addressing the crowd.

My interaction within the institution has enable me to understand the fact of championing

constructive relationship and to see the relevancy of interactions and how it can enable my career

development.

Last but not least the institution has taught me the important of team work, time management and

being aa role model to the students.

5.1 Recommendation
Having the opportunity to be part of MVTC institute, I have observed the wished for the

following recommendation;

 The organization should see the important of training attachés in all department, through

this they may be able to develop constructive pool of labor that may promise long term

benefits.

 The organization should cultivate culture which ensure good working environment.

 Need on presenting similar opportunity such as internship so as to ensure authority obtain

pooled talent in workforce.
