METHOD OF STATEMENT / ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION METHODOLOGY OF SIERRA VALLEY GARDENS


(CLUBHOUSE)

1 INTRODUCTION

This method statement is concerned with the Electrical Construction of Sierra Valley Gardens.

This document is issued may have to be revised and update upon the actual implementation for more Comprehensive technical details.

2 SCOPE OF WORKS:

Supply and Installation of Electrical System.

Supply and Installation of Roughing-ins of Data and Telephone system, Intercom, and Public Address.
3 DRAWINGS & REFERENCE DOCUMENTS

See Plans & Drawings

4 WORK PREPARATION:

4.1 Site survey shall be conducted before the commencement of the said activity to identify the location of works & hazard.

4.2 Mobilization of tools, equipment and materials needed.

4.3 Deploy enough personnel for the said activity.

4.4 Proper coordination with Owner's representatives, area supervisor and other Stakeholders prior to the start of works.

4.5 Any affected utilities should be protected or relocate to avoid possible damage during work execution (with the approval of project owner & facility).

4.6 Site Project Coordinator, Project In-Charge, Supervisor and Safety officer shall conduct daily toolbox meeting with all personnel to delegate specific
task of each worker and to download further safety instruction.

4.7 Work area must be secure, signage to restrain unauthorized person to enter particularly when works in Progress.

4.8 Housekeeping and Mobilization shall be done immediately after the activity.

5 WORK EXECUTION:

5.1 Mobilization

5.1.1 Mobilization of manpower, materials, equipment & tools.

5.2 Electrical Works

5.2.1 Installation of Electrical Conduit for lighting, power, TEL/DATA, Intercom, PA/BGM including hangers, supports, & accessories.

5.2.2 Installation of Wires and Cables for lighting and power on buildings including tagging & cabling works.

5.2.3 Installation of building circuit breakers including all accessories.

5.2.4 Installation of panel boards & Enclosed Circuit Breakers including all accessories.
5.2.5 Installation of Lighting Fixtures and Wiring Devices including tagging.

5.3 Testing & Commissioning

5.4 Site Clearing / Demobilization

5.4.1 Site Clearing and demobilization of all materials, equipment & tools.

6 MITIGATING MEASURES:

1 Secure permit prior to start work execution.

2 Observe buddy system.

3 Barricade the work area to avoid by passers and inform others for the activities.

4 Proper coordination to the project owner, area owner.
6.05 Only authorized person will do the job.
6.06 Deploy enough personnel for the activity ongoing.
6.07 Avoid over stocking of materials at works area.
6.08 Provide proper access & proper coordination among each member to execute the activity safely.
6.09 Provide enough illumination during night & overtime activities.

6.10 Avoid horse playing during work execution.

6.11 Wear proper PPE’s at all times.

6.12 Housekeeping before & after completion of works.

B. Extension chord

C. Grinder / chipping gun / chisel / hammer

D. Hand-drill

F. Rated Electrical tools

G. Welding Machine

H. Cutting Outfit
