15 Tools & Resources You Might Need As A Developer

1. Unsplash (https://unsplash.com) - Get royalty-free stock images for your websites and projects

2. Pexels (https://pexels.com) - Similar to Unsplash

3. Remove Bg (https://www.remove.bg/) - Instantly remove the background of an image. Very fast and effective.

4. ColorHunt (https://www.colorhunt.co/) - To help you pick beautiful and matching colors for your web projects

5. Cover (https://coverr.co/) - Similar to unsplash, but for videos. You want a video as a background for your site header, go to coverr and
pick your choice.

6. Google Fonts (https://www.google.com/fonts) - the number 1 place for free and beautiful fonts for your websites.

7. UI Gradients (http://uigradients.com/) - you want nice and beautiful gradient colors, check this site.

8. Dribble (https://dribble.com) - Get design inspirations and ideas for your next web project. You don't actually need to be a designer to
build beautiful and unique websites. You can get ideas and even designs from design professionals for free from dirbble and similar
sites.

9. Emmet Cheatsheet (https://docs.emmet.io/cheat-sheet/) - If you use VSCode, then you have used Emmet knowingly or unknowingly.
Emmet is powerful, learn more from their official cheatsheet.

10. w3schools (http://w3schools.com/) - the number 1 place I recommend for beginners to learn HTML & CSS. They have tons of materials
for other languages and tools as well.

11. Bootswatch (https://bootswatch.com/) - A site to get free and beautiful Bootstrap themes - we are actually using one of their themes
(Lux) for our Phonebook App in the Beginning Frontend course at JCC.

12. Animate CSS (https://animate.style/) - A library with beautiful ready-made CSS animations that you can easily add to your projects to
bring your UI to life.

13. Creative Tim (https://www.creative-tim.com/) - Get free and ready-made bootstrap themes for your projects. They also have themes for
almost all major frameworks.

14. CompressOrDie (https://compress-or-die.com/) - A powerful online image compressing tool. This is my go to platform for compressing
images.

15. Canva (https://www.canva.com/) - An online platform for creating designs ranging from flyers, logos, CVs, presentations, certificates,
etc... They have ready made templates you can use out of the box.
