TITLE: LITNUM HABIT: LITERACY ANF NUMERACY HABIT IN THE MORNING FOR SAGAYAD
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LEARNERS
IV. RATIONALE:
Literacy and numeracy skills are fundamental parts of the curriculum for all levels of
schooling, most specially after two years of staying at home during the pandemic.
V. A. TERMINAL OBJECTIVE:
Sagayad Elementary School will provide literacy and numeracy activities during the first
hour in the morning to check the level of understanding of learners in the basic concept
of the five macro skill learnings for better understanding and to provide a good
foundation for the learners to understand the different competencies in the classroom.
During their school years, children and young people continue to learn and refine their
literacy and numeracy skills. At school, children will create and make sense of a range of
written, visual, arithmetic and spoken texts.
B. ENABLING OBJECTIVE:
A. succeed in all learning areas, students need literacy skills and knowledge to:
B. understand, analyze, interpret, and evaluate information
C. develop and express ideas and opinions
D. interact with others and participate in activities at school.
E. become effective learners, students need to be confident and motivated to use their literacy
and numeracy skills broadly.
