willingness she has to offer.

We would also like to express our thankfulness to all of our family members in giving full
support and cooperation to finalize the assignment within the due date limit. We are also
overwhelmed in all humbleness to acknowledge our depth to all those who have helped us to
put these ideas, well above the level of simplicity and into something concrete. Any attempt at
any level would not work and reach satisfactory without the support and guidance from Him

INTRODUCTION

Dealing with daily basis such as studying and working within fixed times everyday lead humans
to be under pressure. Movies are one of the choices people nowadays spend time on as their coping
mechanism. However, people prefer watching it at cinemas as it provides better accommodation and
service with affordable prices. Back in the days, ticketing systems for cinemas were done manually by
giving a hardcopy of the ticket, which now could be seen as a hassle. Since the Covid-19, our society
prefers mostly everything to be in softcopy form, cashless and online. This is why cinema's management
stepped into the development of programming to make their system convenient for customers that went
through the bitter times of the pandemic.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

The old way of booking a cinema ticket is inconvenient nowadays. People need to queue to get
their tickets, and it is a time consuming process especially for a trending movie. This is because they need
to stand in a queue for a long period of time. Thus, we decided to create a system to overcome this
problem by creating a Cinema Ticketing System. This system helps people to book their tickets online.
The booking can be made a week in advance anywhere and anytime as long as they have an internet
connection. In the systems, we manage to track the availability of seats which helps users to choose
another date with available seat and time. However, if they just walk into the cinema without knowing the
availability, this might disappoint them. Also, we provided a membership which gave them 10% off
during a selected day. It gives users a lot of advantages and manages to make them enjoy their movie of
choice happily.

OBJECTIVE

The project's goal is to allow people to book movie tickets online. The Cinema Ticketing System
is an Internet-based application that can be accessed by anyone with a computer and an Internet
connection. The tickets will be reserved using this application. This cinema ticketing system creates a
website for a cinema hall that any internet user can access. To book tickets, the user must first log into the
system and provide a name. Tickets can be purchased through the system. Watching movies in theaters
with family and friends is one of the best ways to unwind after a long day. But all of this excitement fades
after standing in long lines for hours to get tickets. The website contains comprehensive information.

USAGE

1. Book tickets online

Users can book their ticket online anywhere and anytime using our Cinema Ticketing System.
The payment can be done using Cinema Ticketing System so users do not have to queue for a
long time and waste their time. Other than that, users also can pick their own seats to have a great
experience in the cinema.

2. Showtime

Users are able to view and pick movie titles based on showtime. With this feature users can know
the availability of the seat, and users can avoid disappointment if their desired movie and time are
already sold. Users can pick another movie, time or seat available based on the showtime.

3. Membership

Users can register their membership with our Cinema Ticketing System so they can enjoy a 10%
discount and other privileges. To register membership users need to choose a type of membership
whether it is personal or family membership. Then users need to enter their name, email, phone
number. Done! User already a member and can enjoy the privilege

4. Term and Condition

Users can view the term and condition Cinema Ticketing System with this Term and Condition
menu. To make users understand more about our Cinema Ticketing System so users can have
good experiences while running this application.
