What Is Project Management?


 On a very basic level, project management includes the planning,
initiation, execution, monitoring, and closing of a project.
 Many different types of project management methodologies and
techniques exist, including traditional, waterfall, agile, and lean.
 Project management is used across industries and is an important part
of the success of construction, engineering, and IT companies.

Why program management?


Project management roles can be very rewarding as you are responsible for delivering a
product or service that can make a real difference to people's lives.
Project managers are responsible for leading a team of people to achieve a common goal,
which requires strong leadership skills.
Project managers are responsible for identifying and solving problems that arise during the
course of a project, which can be challenging and rewarding.

Business Development:
• Responsible for market analysis and segmentation

• Research key accounts and their business; identify key players and generate interest

• Develop business insights related to Sales, Marketing and Operations

• Manage and track sales pipeline, coordinate with sales for further development and closure
• Manage analyst relations and partnerships

• Develop business insights related to Sales & Marketing and Operations • Manage and track sales

processes • Understand & be the superuser for the sales & marketing CRM of choice – drive
enhancements as required • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to liaise effectively with internal
stakeholders such as Delivery, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, etc.

 Business development encompasses a wide scope of ideas, activities,
and initiatives that a business owner and management implement with
the goal of making the business better.
 Business development can include many objectives, such as sales
growth, business expansion, the formation of strategic partnerships,
and increased profitability.
 Successful business development impacts every department within a
company, including sales, marketing, manufacturing, human resources,
accounting, finance, product development, and vendor management.
 Business developers should be aware of new market opportunities,
possibilities for expansion, competitor developments, and the current
sources of the company's revenue.
 My goal is to constructively challenging the status quo and I do believe that your
