Middle Software Developer (Angular) for SitaWare Aspire

About the position


For our rapidly growing Defence business unit, we are now building a new team which is going
to develop and grow the newest Defence product, Sitaware Aspire. We are looking for a
dedicated and innovative System Engineer who can accelerate the implementation of a
completely new product for our customers. You will be joining a development team that is
working to develop smart new product features. You will have a unique opportunity to make

Responsibilities and tasks


You will become a key player in the Product Management team who is creating a new product.
You will be involved in both technical development as well as concept development, and we
trust you to be the creative and technical force in building products that meet the market needs.
As we are a brand new team you will get the chance to set your mark on the direction and co-
create together with other highly skilled professionals.

Your everyday tasks include:

 Designing and implementing high-quality integrations between existing defence products


and the Learning Management System.
 Implementing best practices and finding optimum solutions with the other team members.
 Troubleshooting, optimising, and solving complex problems in an existing codebase.
 Write and implement code for the new features.
 Be actively involved in the decision making for the new product features and
architecture.

Our ideal candidate

 You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant development education


 At least 3 years of experience from a similar role – ideally from the Defence domain, but
this is not a requirement.
 You possibly have experience with DevOps and Infrastructure, and you might have tried
your hand at building environments, deployment pipelines etc.
 It is a must that you have experience with some parts of the tech stack. You are familiar
with Java, Angular and TypeScript. You might also have heard about DevOps or other
technologies that will benefit the team.
 You had experience as a technical lead or experience with product architecture
 As a person you work independently, take responsibility and you are dedicated to your
work. You want to grow and learn and have ambitions for your career.
 Working in Scrum teams based on agile methodologies is part and parcel of your working
life.  As we are an international company, you are comfortable communicating in English.
 We work with security classified projects and, as a Systematic employee, you must be
able to obtain a security clearance. This means that you must, as a minimum, have a clean
criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years. See more

Preferred skills

 You bring a couple of years of experience as a quality-conscious developer and had the
chance to grow and lead development teams
 You worked with Angular, TypeScript and Java
 You have DevOps/Infrastructure knowledge
 You had the chance to be part of architecture development for the products you worked
on
 Experience with SCRUM, or at least familiarity with the principles

implement. You are eager to learn more and able to find alternative ways for achieving our goals.
