Social dances are dances that have a social functions and context. Social dances are
intended for participation rather than performance. A dance which is recreational and
usually performed with a partner and in groups or as a community activity for
fun and enjoyment.

Night Club Two-Step. Many of these dances have both an American style and an
International style.

be called “modern”) – Waltz, Slow Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep & Viennese waltz
and Latin American – Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble & Jive.
