VDR information is copied automatically onto the back up hard disk drive (HDD)
for more than 12 hours ( max 48 hrs ) and is then automatically written over with
new data. The HDD is inside the SCU ( System Collection Unit ) which is located
in the Navigation Locker on bridge. Following is the procedure of saving and
recovery of data from VDR.

1. Please make sure the USB memory stick is connected to the slot correctly.
2. Press the “Back -up” button on the SCU for more than 3 sec to collect the 12
hrs back up data from capsule to memory stick.

3. After the back-up is over the SCU will display” Back up Finished”.

4. Take out the memory stick out of the slot.
