7. Narrative of the Activity (max of 200 words):

Malaruhatan Elementary School's learning modality is modular distance learning which


involves individualized instruction that allows learners to use self-learning modules (SLMs) in print or
digital format/electronic copy, whichever is applicable in the context of the learner, and other learning

resources like Learner’s Materials, textbooks, activity sheets, study guides, and other study materials.
The teacher takes the responsibility of monitoring the progress of the learners. The learners may
ask for assistance from the teacher via email, telephone, text message/instant messaging, etc.
Where possible, the teacher shall do home visits to learners needing remediation or assistance.
Any member of the family or other stakeholder in the community needs to serve as a para-
teachers.

At the end of the school year, additional printers and peripherals have been purchased to
fully help teachers in the delivery of services. Printers, photocopiers, and other learning
materials are the most essential tool nowadays, especially in Modular Distance Learning
Modality. The school ensures the quality of teaching and learning and the provision of learning
resources. Printing the self-learning modules, activity sheets and other learning materials is
extremely portable, cost-effective, readily available, and comfortable to use for 21st-century
learners. The printed materials can be used anywhere and anytime by the learners. It also lessens

the burden of the teachers that teach learners had their materials for learning on the modular
distance learning modality. It is indeed a worthwhile project for MES!

9. Summary of Assessment (Monitoring and Evaluation Analysis):

One (1) all-in-one copier, one printer, 1 CPU unit, and a microphone were purchased and
teachers benefited and currently using these for their printing and reproduction of SLMs and LMs
