How relevant and applicable were the course The course contents are very relevant and
contents in helping you enhance your applicable in enhancing my competencies as a 21st

trends, and pedagogies in education. It also helps
me improve as a teacher in facilitating learning
using various teaching strategies. I will be more
equipped with knowledge, skills, attitudes and
values so that I could share them to my 21st century
learners.
What significant learning insights did you The significant learning insights that I gained from
gain from the course? this course are: I, as 21st century teacher, should be
equipped with knowledge, skills, attitudes and
values which is important in 21st century education.
I should teach/model so that learners will emulate
the teacher. I should also be a subject matter expert,
a great facilitator of learning, and a firm classroom
manager to ensure quality of learning among
learners.
What challenges or difficulties did you There are several challenges or difficulties that I
experience during the course? encountered during the course. One of these and I
think is the biggest reason is time management that
I really learned the hard way during the SEAMEO.
Due to a lot of demand in our teaching profession,
especially that the modality of teaching today is
Modular Distance Learning due to the COVID-19
pandemic, I really have to set time to read the
modules and required readings as well as make
time in making the course requirements. Another
difficulty is poor internet connection during chat
sessions. There are instances where I was

automatically logged out and I cannot participate


anymore in the chat. I need to refresh my internet
connection and log in again.
What areas related to 21st Century teaching The area that I think I need to improve on related to
and learning do you still need to improve on 21st century teaching and learning is on classroom
and why? management. I have difficulty in dealing with
pupils who behave, act and think differently
compared to his/her classmates. Though I have
established rules and regulations during my classes,
it is not working on them.
What can you say about your overall The overall experience in SEAMEO Innotech

In chat sessions, I experienced being nervous in
talking live, I feel also excited and I learned a lot in
the discussions and activities together with our
FLT, Dr. Augustines Cepe and my flexible learning
classmates.
In forum, I am slow in passing the requirements for
there are many things to do – printing modules and
submission of reports as an ICT Coordinator and
M&E Coordinator. I often bring these works at
home. In course requirements, it is really relevant
and applicable in our field. In our FLT competency,
yes, he is very much knowledgeable on the topics.
He even shares his experiences in teaching. He also
gives time for us to dig the ideas to the answers

during the Online Chat Discussion. In online


modality, it is my first time experienced online
schooling but I feel much comfortable compared to
face-to-face schooling. Overall, the experienced
was a great.
What are your other comments/suggestions For suggestions, I think the 2 chat sessions is not
for improving the content coverage and enough to tackle some topics in every module and
future course deliveries? for the FLT to share some insights for us to ponder
and instill. Maybe additional chat sessions is
enough.
