observations.
- The Grade 10 students, whose ages range from 14 to 15, participated in seat works. As I
observed them, I noticed that each of them exhibited a variety of traits. Some of them are
intensely silent and concentrated on their task, while others are chatting with their buddies as
they complete tasks.
3. Focus on their behavior. Are they already able to manage their own behavior?
- While I analyzed the various traits they express. I've discovered that even while they're
engaging in small talk or talks with their peers, students can maintain attention on their
prescribed chores and control their behavior by completing them.
- Most students can work independently, but if they have difficulty comprehending the lesson,
they might need some assistance from the teacher.
- Both the students' patience and mental concentration are adequate for working on their
projects. I observed that they have the maturity to follow directions due to their capacity to
focus. I observed that they possess the listening skills necessary to be able to follow
instructions. Based on their ability to respond to some ideas, such as playing and engaging in
independent discussion with their peer group, they could still complete the assigned activity.
ANALYZE
1. Are there areas in the classroom for specific purposes (storage of teaching aids, books,
students’ belongings, supplies, etc.)? Describe these areas. Will it make a difference if these
areas for specific purposes are not present?
2. Are there rules and procedures posted in the room? List them down. Do these rules
reinforce positive behavior?
3. Did the students participate in making the classroom rules? If the Resource Teacher is
available, ask him/her to describe the process. What’s the effect of students’ participation in
rule – making on student’s behavior?
4. What are the daily routines done by the Resource Teacher? (prayer, attendance, assignment
of monitors, warm –up activities, etc.) How are they done?
5. Is there a seating arrangement? What is the basis of this arrangement? Does this help in
managing the class?
7. If a learner is not following instruction or off-task, what does the Resources Teacher do?
Describe he behavior strategies used.
8. What does the Resource Teacher do to reinforce positive behaviors? (behavior strategies)
ANSWERS:
1. The various aspects in the school environment, such as the reading nook, various subject
areas, bulletin boards, cabinets that contain teaching aids, the learning aids or materials are
set on the teacher's table, and there are also shelves housing their various instructional
activities, became apparent to me as I observed in the classroom. Students are encouraged to
engage more fully in all tasks in this area. When it comes to their education, they are more at
ease.
2. Some of the regulations and guidelines are written on the walls, however the teacher would
also state her own rules when leading a discussion, such as wait for your turn to be called, in
addition to remind the learners of these rules to maintain peace and discipline in the
classroom.
3. All learners generally took part in the formulation of the rules for their home room as they are
the ones taking part in this activity. As for my resource teacher, she consistently imparts laws
and regulations to her students in a kind manner, assuring them that every restriction will teach
them a valuable lesson. Participation by students in rules has a positive impact on their
behavior in that it makes them more responsible and helps them learn more effectively.
4. Before start the lesson, teacher always ensure that the classroom and clean they tell to the
students to pick up all the unnecessary things in the floor, desk and etc. and then after that she
assigned one of her students to lead the prayer and then she also checks always the
attendance of the class before she proceeds to the lesson.
5. There are five rows and two columns of seats for my resource teacher, and they are
arranged in pairs. The idea behind this design is to aid the quick learner by assisting the slow
learner’s student. The students will be able to interact with their peers in a positive way as a
result of this setup.
6. As I saw the grade 10 class, the instructor was managing the noise level and constantly
trying to get the students' interest by asking questions anytime she felt that a certain student
was not paying attention to the conversation.
7. When a student disobeys directions, the instructor will take disciplinary action. After doing
so, the teacher will respectfully ask the student why they disobeyed and will remind the class
that they should have.
8. The teacher should serve as an effective role model for the students and speak properly to
them in order to encourage good reinforcement. The lesson should always incorporate values
so that students learn ethical behavior.
REFLECT
As a future teacher, I think it's crucial to enforce proper behavior since it teaches kids how
to be respected and accountable citizens. By using these constructive disciplinary methods,
I will be able to establish a healthy school climate and an inclusive learning environment. In
order to develop an effective positive disciplinary strategy for a particular student, teachers
should work closely with the student, the student's parents, and the student themselves.
One of the most significant components of constructive discipline is helping future students
develop new behaviors that meet standards in the class, at homes, and elsewhere. I do this
by implementing rules and regulations.
Learning Episode 5 Activity 5.2
Grade/Year Level: Grade 10 Subject Area: Araling Panlipunan Date: November 12,2022
OBSERVE
1. How did the classroom organization and routines affect the learners’ behavior?
- Since the students are aware of their restrictions, the classroom setup and procedures have
an impact on their behavior. Students practice having a good attitude and acting politely
because they are convinced that there are norms to follow.
2. What should the teacher have in mind when she/he designs the classroom organizations and
routines? What theories and principles should you have in mind?
- The teacher should consider the effects on the students as well as the outcome of such
things, whether they have been effective or not, when establishing the classroom structure and
routine. I agree with John Dewey's theory of experiential learning, sometimes known as
learning by doing. Because we do not even constantly have a partner to assist us with our
duties, we can use this approach to support our students who are working or studying alone.
They ought to develop the independence to face the world on their own.
3. Which behavior strategies were effective in managing the behavior of the learners? Is
motivating students? Why were they effective?
1. Imagine yourself organizing your classroom in the future. In what grade year level do you see
yourself? What routines and procedures would you consider for this level Why?
I think in grade 10 because they are matured enough to reach all the knowledge that the
teacher has the most important thing is they always has a curiosity in their mind that they want
to know they always ask a deeper meaning on what particular topic being discuss. I always
implement the peace and order and develop their skills as they preparing on the next
challenging of their life the shs and college moments I will prepare themselves to easily adjust
the changes of their education in the future.
2. Make a list of the rules you are likely to implements in this level. Why would you choose these
rules?
- Yes, students should be informed of the classroom rules so they are aware of the dos and
don'ts and are well-aware of their limitations while in the class.

ANALYZE
Analyze the routines set by the Resource Teacher by answering the following questions.
1. Were the routines effective in ensuring discipline and order in the class? Why? Why not?
- Yes, because routines not just to simplify your life but also help you get more done in less
time when you're in class. Efficiency is most important. Routines can help students learn and
accomplish more. When routines and procedures are effectively taught, modeled, and
established in the classroom, children understand what is expected of them and how to carry
out certain tasks on their own. When these consistent patterns are in place, teachers may
spend more time to pertinent instruction.
2. Which of those routines were systematic and consistently implemented? Explain your answer.
- Group work or pairs, submitting projects, asking questions during classes, seeking help,
participating in class activities, and checking assignments are all examples of routines that are
systematic and consistently followed in the classroom. Because each of these routines is very
useful for use in class discussion before they begin the subject properly, my resource teacher
used them all in every virtual meeting. Occasionally, if the topic called for group participation,
my resource teacher formed a group. Participating in activities in the classroom is very
common in my observation class because they are all active when there is a classroom
activity. They participated well and you won't be ashamed of them. Throughout every class
discussion, the asking of questions during the lesson is always available because the majority
of her students used to ask questions with their teacher if they were confused regarding the
lesson as well as seek assistance if they didn't get the lesson.
REFLECT
- A routine I'm most likely to use in my class is seeking information during the lesson since it will
stimulate the involvement of my incoming students, encourage them to participate more in class,
help them to develop their critical thinking abilities, go over what they've learned, and inspire them
to look up information on their own and pose their own questions. A field of thinking must be
continually questioned by me in order to maintain it; else, it will simply die. I might then utilize
inquiry to push students' thinking by contesting accepted ideas or conclusions.

Listing Down Classroom Rules
Resource Teacher: Jenielyn J. Santos Teacher’s Signature: ________ School: PNHS
Grade/Year Level: Grade 10 Subject Area: Araling Panlipunan Date: November 12,2022
OBSERVE
Observe a class and list down the classroom rules formulated by the Resource Teacher. Cite
the importance of these rules.
Classroom rules are imperative and must be reinforced for learners' safety and security. Rules
also teach discipline and self-control. Rules eliminate stress and will provide a more pleasant,
secured and non-threatening environment. Rules ensure the students' engagement and focus in their
classroom activities.
1. E.g. Read directions well. -Ensure less error in answering the activity.
1. Analyze each given rule. What circumstances led to the formulation of the rule?
- Those regulations were made in reaction to a number of problems that had previously
existed, with the intention of preventing them in the future. Additionally, there must be a
regulation to go by in order to advance academically and keep control of kids.
REFLECT
Reflect on the various classroom rules set by the Resource Teacher. Will you have the same
rules? If not, what rules are you going to employ? Explain your answer.
- The guidelines established by my resource teacher were excellent, and I watched as each
time she discussed in class, she taught her students how to embrace healthy attitudes and
beliefs. I could see how well-behaved her students were, so her guidelines were clearly highly
successful. I assume that when I eventually become a teacher, I might very well implement
some routines, such as praying before doing anything else, since thanking the Lord first for all
of the knowledge he has bestowed upon us is invaluable, and I will implement all of my
resource teacher rules as these are very efficient to apply in the class.
SHOW Your Learning Artifacts
Take some snapshots of the classroom routines employed by the Resource Teacher which are
worth emulating. Tell something about the pictures.
My resource teacher was giving them an activity and she explain the directions of what they
going to do she also write the lectures of discussion to serve as the source of materials as if they
have an exam or quiz, they have a lecture so that students will pass the exams.
