4.1. Introductory
Activity ( 5 mins.)  REVIEW:
The teacher will ask:
1. What are the different folk dances with influence of Asian countries?
2. What is the origin of each dance?

4.2. Activity (
15 mins )  VIDEO PRESENTATION:
1. The teacher will show a video presentation of the different costumes of each folk
dance.
2. The students will write in their notebook the place of origin of the dances they saw in
the video presentation by recognizing the costumes and props, facial expressions,
body gestures.

4.3. Analysis ( 1. How did you find the activity?


8 mins. ) 2. Were you able to trace the place of origin of all the dances?

4.4. Abstraction
( 10 mins. ) The teacher will have a short discussion on the origins of each folk dance.

4.5. Application
( 10 mins. )  GROUP ACTIVITY:
1. Divide the class into four groups.
2. Using any medium for sound production let them produce a sound in time with the rhythm
of the music commonly used in regional and national folk dances
3. They can use any of the following that could produce sound:
 Clapping hands
 Stamping feet
 Snapping fingers
 Using any materials as percussion instruments
4. They will graded with this criteria:
