Among the facilities available in the school, what I found most useful are the gymnasium
which serves as a multipurpose facility where different school event happens and serves as

always there to buy meal and snacks, and the library where students go to read, study and
do their activities of other school works.

Every facility in the school does serve its purpose. Every facility is essential for the
students which contributes their safety, learning, and development.

What are the classroom management strategy(ies) that you have observed?

I have observed that Sir Christian Used Digital Learning Methods. He Provided
educational technologies to his students to learn in his classroom such as providing a
PowerPoint presentation containing the lesson that he discusses to the class. These are
helpful instructional material with visual aids and illustrations and not merely text. He also
engages with students. When a student is inattentive, rowdy, or challenging, it distracts
others. As he's teaching, he tried making friendly eye contact with the student. Encourage
them to focus on what is being taught by asking questions and using names that makes
the discussion more engaging. Sir Christian tackle inappropriate behavior immediately.
He didn’t neglect the situation if he find a student misbehaving in the classroom. He, as
soon as possible, address the inappropriate behavior.

2. What part(s) of the lesson this/these management strategy(ies) were utilized?

All throughout the lesson, Sir Christian utilized the said management strategies.
He integrated technology to his class through providing a powerpoint
presentation for better learning. He gives opportunity to students to share their
own ideas by asking questions related to the topic that makes the discussion
more engaging. During the discussion, it is inevitable that there are students
whobehave inappropriately like answering in chorus, he didn’t tolerate but as
soon as possible, address the inappropriate behavior.

3. What management strategy did the teacher utilize to keep the learning environment safe and
conducive?
Based on my observation, to keep the learning environment safe and conducive, the classroom
management strategy that the teacher utilized was keeping the vibes good throughout the lesson. The
teacher's good vibes and enthusiasm pique the students’ interest and attention thus, he was in control and
was able build a judgement-free environment. He encourages students to share their ideas which promotes
confidence among students. This also induce positive feedback of students towards each other's ideas,
values and attitudes. Moreover, the teacher’s ability to keep the positive vibes fosters a positive learning
culture which leads to successful learning outcomes.

My Analysis

Answer the following questions:

When do you consider a facility useful or not?

We can consider a facility to be useful if it serves its purpose and can also contributes to the learning
and development of students. And if it is in good and quality condition that guarantees students' safety
as well as conducive for student learning. If a facility doesn't give nor satisfy students’ needs then it
can be considered as useless and should be replaced with a facility that students need and really
contribute to their learning and development.

When do you say that a facility aids learning? Cite some instances.

A facility aids learning if it has a conducive learning environment. A school needs a facility that
provides a physical environment that makes the user safe, secure, and comfortable. A facility that has
conducive learning environment gives the students the opportunity to study and learn effectively and
can cater their different learning styles and capacity. It can greatly affect how students learn if their
needs are not met and the environment where they study is not conducive enough. For example, if a
classroom is dark, noisy and not well ventilated, the students focus and concentration in studying
might compromise. They might not learn because of distractions and uneasiness. Therefore, a facility
that aids learning should have pleasant environment that is conducive for better learning and
development.

What is the impact of environment to the learners?

A good environment, by any means is giving students the opportunity to focus and concentrate at the
same time enjoy studying. Environment greatly affects students learning, several factors can affect learning
ability, including seating, light, noise, and even color. Students who study in a positive learning environment
have been shown to be more motivated, engaged, and have a higher overall learning ability. Thus, it is
important to create a positive learning environment which is often one where learners feel they are learning
and making progress.

What kind of classroom management is conducive to learning?

It is crucial that both the teacher and the students are actively involved in the learning process. The kind of
classroom management that is now beneficial to learning involves actively involving students in concrete
ways. The secret to engaging pupils' various learning styles is to differentiate your education approaches.
According to research, it is challenging for pupils to engage in disruptive behavior when they are intensely
engaged in academic activity. Instead of simply writing on the board, the teacher can, as an illustration,
create a PowerPoint presentation with text and illustrations that covers the lesson. It involves active
participation and boosts interest to show pictures and ask students to answer a question in the moment. The
teacher could also provide students with an outline of s lecture and ask them to follow along as the lecture
progresses. Increasing students opportunities to respond. And providing guided notes can all help ensure
active participation and reduce disruption.

My Reflection

1. Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed/remembered? Why? Why not?

Yes, as I become more familiar in the school environment of Pangasinan School of Arts and Trades,
I’ve dreamed of teaching intis kind of school someday. It may not have sophisticated buildings or
facilities but what I admire most is that they ensure that the school environment is the most
comfortable space for the students to study and learn. They allow the students to access the learning
facilities and resources that are significant for their learning and development. They create
opportunities for students to develop excellent academic performance and to build professional growth
for teachers. And lastly, they value the most quality of education and services that they will provide
for their students.

2. If you are the teacher, how can you make the environment conducive to learning?

If I become the teacher, I’ll start from focusing on my teaching approach and behavior before
fixing the learning ambiance inside the classroom. I believe that choosing a proper approach leads
to more successful classroom management that makes the environment more conducive for student
learning. Have a sound and healthy mind to result to a peaceful and lively interaction between me
as a teacher and my students. So it is important to build a healthy relationship inside the classroom.
Next is know your students, assess their traits and differences to come up with an approach that
caters all their needs such as differentiated instructions, designing environment that negativity
won’t foster and learning will achieve and develop.

3. How do classroom management impact learning?

By fostering a disciplined learning environment that improves students' academic skills and
competences as well as their social and emotional development, classroom management systems
maximize student success. creates a space for kids where they can study without interruptions.
reduces disruptive behavior so that pupils can concentrate on their studies. aids in the development
of social and emotional skills. When you set up your classroom efficiently, the pupils are aware of
their duties and what is expected of them. An optimum learning environment is created by effective
classroom management. Safety, happiness, and productivity for both teachers and students depend on
this. Successful classroom management will lessen the need for yelling, reprimanding, or other
strenuous discipline techniques that irritate both teachers and students. It will also assist prevent
teacher fatigue. This kind of environment enhances learning, as well as social/emotional
development.
