Synopsis On 360 Fire Protection New.

The document summarizes a proposed project for a 360 degree rotating fire protection system. The system would use motors and a wireless remote control to allow targeted spraying of water in the direction of a fire from a safe distance. This aims to control fires more effectively while avoiding damage to other equipment compared to traditional sprinkler systems. If successful, the remote-controlled system could be adapted for use by fire departments to safely operate from outside of buildings. The project aims to develop a low-cost solution for centralized fire protection.

6. RELEVANCE:
Large factories, warehouses, and industrial production facilities always run the risk of fires
breaking out. Lack of appropriate firefighting measures could result in disastrous consequences
and along with financial losses and might even lead to massive loss of human life. Usual fire
protection systems installed in buildings have the following disadvantage

• They spray small amounts of water from each sprinkler which may not be enough
to put out the fire.
• The sprinklers are not targeted and spray an entire floor or building ruining
computers, furniture and paperwork.
• While this sprayer gun can spray water in desired qty only at fire outbreak point to
stop fire without ruining complete office furniture and electronics.
• This demo version is made to be remote controlled from few meters but future
version will operate remotely from fire dept.
Fire monitors and sprayers are an aimable and controllable high-capacity water jet used to deal
with large fires. Unlike Fire extinguishers, Fire Monitors are permanently installed and cannot
be moved. While traditional fire monitor systems need a human operator to change the direction
of the water jet and aim it appropriately, this fire monitor has been equipped with RF control
and an onboard camera. Thereby allowing the user to operate it from a safe distance.

The system makes use Motors coupled with a powerful sprayer motor with piping system and
onboard wireless streaming camera to run this system. The motors are used to control the nozzle
direction movement. The user may use a wireless remote to transmit movement commands.
The receiver circuitry mounted on system receives users commands and operates the motors to
achieve desired motion. Also the receiver operates the pump motor to start and stop the spray.

The sprayer nozzle can also be adjusted to adjust the water spray outlet. The sprayer mechanism
is built to operate to depth of field operation to adjust position in x and Y directions and achieve
a 360 Degree water spray coverage
7. SCOPE OF THE WORK:
A fire protection system is one of the most crucial systems required to be installed in
any building or establishment. A fire protection system is used to control, detect, and
safeguard inhabitants in a building or an establishment from fire hazards. These systems help
extinguish smoke or fire and alert the building occupants, reducing the loss of property and
life. Fire protection systems include equipment such as fire detectors, fire response systems,
fire analysis software, fire suppression systems, and fire sprinkler systems. These fire
protection systems are installed in various infrastructures, including industrial buildings,
residential buildings, and commercial buildings, to safeguard people and reduce the loss of
destruction from fire hazards.
Initially, the adoption of fire protection systems in several developing countries was low
compared to developed nations. This was mainly due to the lack of awareness among
consumers regarding the product as well as reduced regulatory pressure. However, the
efforts from various systems integrators, manufacturers, and dealers have created
widespread awareness among users. The launch of fire safety programs and the use of
targeted marketing explaining the benefits of a fire protection system have drawn the
attention of large as well as small and medium enterprises. This has led to steady market
growth over the past few years.
The construction of new properties, including residential and non-residential, is expected to
offer new opportunities for installing fire alarm and detection systems. The commercial and
industrial areas majorly use fire protection systems for employee safety. Furthermore, an
increase in the number of property damage due to fire accidents drives the market. Moreover,
the market for fire protection systems is driven by the regulations, standards, and codes
imposed by different regulatory bodies. The growing standard has impelled organizations to
install fire protection systems. These factors are expected to boost the growth of the market
over the forecast period.
8. OBJECTIVE:
Importance of Fire Protection System Fire Protection systems are a very important
part of safety in any operating plant as it provides a reasonable degree of protection to
expensive equipment, property, documents, life, and inventory during a fire event

• To reduce ignition hazards.

• To ensure safe emergency evacuation of occupants.
• To allow for quick emergency response.
• Useful for controlling indoor fire.
• Targeted water spraying to avoid water damage in office
• Remote controlled operation ensures to operator remains safe zone.
• We provide a low cost fire protection system with limited centralized fire protection.
