Act as a major contributor for implementing a WMS solution for the DC.
Submit CV monitoring report before or during cu0off time as compliance on
the KPI.
Track drivers by using all equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) i.e.
Lap top, printer and fax along with sprint wireless internet are in use.
Monitor WMS server applications and interfaces as well as performance of
first level technical maintenance as necessary.
Tender loads to carriers utilizing TMS in a manner insuring the customer
request ship dates RSD/RAD/SAT are meet.
Prepare shipping documents for other customers and arrange
transportation and schedule the TL & LTL pickups for those loads.
Provide strategic and hands-on leadership for all transportation
procurement, including LTL, TL, and small package purchasing.
Experience with material storage, handling and distribution procedures,
while following work instructions under general and FDA regulate policies.
Work with multiple government and private agencies to allow exceptions to
policy for emergency international travel.
Dispatch emergency transports and communicate in-flight patient status
reports, helicopter locations, weather conditions, and coordinate accident
scene support.
Train all new transportation coordinators and account service
representatives.
Create and establish relationships between carriers and shippers that ensure
company growth.
Coordinate freight between shippers and dispatchers to ensure on-time
delivery and efficient transportation.
Provide RFP's for large company customers
Contribute to and prepare multiple high-level RFP submissions.
Prepare military vehicles for rail transportation and process personnel and
equipment for movement to and from training areas and combat zones.
Dispatch and route drivers using RoadNet to maximize route efficiency.
Utilize RoadNet routing software to increase driver productivity, route
efficiency and service levels.
Use SARSS, TC-AIMS and WPS daily to perform job tasks and duties.
