Millenial Farmer: 22 Year Old Farmer - The advantage of a young Farmer.

There are a lot of reasons why people chose to become a farmer, some of them
chose to become a farmer because it runs in their blood or it is their family business
and some of them chose to become a farmer because they see opportunity in it. In this
video he both chose to become a farmer because it is a family business and he also
sees a opportunity in it. Every generation has it owns masterpiece or has their own
knowledge and uniqueness when it comes to farming. Millenial farmer or also known
as the young farmer can easily used technology to improve their farm. Through
technology they can easily search on the internet what the things that they should do
to improve their products.

The first thing that you must do in agriculture business is to find your market.
You should focus on gaining other peoples trust on you and on your product as well.
It will help you to improve your product/service and also to have a good relationship
on your consumers. If they give you a good feedback it can also help your business on
having a new consumers that can help you to expand your business.

Millenial entrepreneur or farmer can easily find ways to improve their


products through trial and error, and through searching with the help of the
technology.

Calata Foundation: The state of Philippine Farming and Agriculture

I do believe that change was continuously happening in our world, Many


countries say the Philippines is rich in the agricultural sector. But some Filipinos do
not see the value of our natural agricultural resources. Our fellow Filipinos say that
the youth are the hope of the people, they are right if our youth today have become
instruments of change. Every Filipino has his or her dream in life but let us not forget
our origin, the livelihoods of our ancestors. Here in the Philippines, when it is said
that you are a farmer, the Filipino people immediately think that you are poor! That is
immediately on the minds of Filipinos so we must change their belief in that. With the
change that continues to happen, we must also keep pace with the change that is
taking place in our national economy. Let us give color and hope to the farmers to
reproduce again, we are not just a farmer but an Entrepreneur farmer who can grow
our golden livelihood. inherited from ancestors.

The Calata Foundation has a vision and mission to grow the agriculture of our
country. Let’s use this vision and mission to make our agricultural sector fruitful.
Technologies are already a big part of our lives because technology is also with the
change taking place. Let us use technology as an instrument in the growth of our
agriculture sector. Appropriate use of technology tools, strategies, planning and right
training is a big part of convenience in activities because proper use of technology
will bring prosperity to our farmers. Let us not be afraid of the change that is
happening but let us make it an instrument in making a change in our lives and let us
embrace this change.
