SCRIPT FOR SEND OFF PROGRAM

To officially start our program, I would like to invite everyone to please stand for the singing of the Philippine
National Anthem to be conducted by Ma’am Joan Alvarado, followed by an invocation to be led by Ma’am Elma
Soriano.

People always say "Every Ending has a New Beginning", and to open a new door you must close an old one
which can be heartbreaking and scary but it is necessary for you to change and grow and someday you'll see
the reason why there's good in goodbye and you'll realize it's time to start something new and trust the magic
of beginnings.

As we celebrate the month of all teachers nationwide, today Hacienda-Intal National High School marks the
reshuffling of principals in the district, attended by our very own PSDS, Sir Ralph Bona, our supportive Brgy.
Captain, Hon. Morris G, Aliman and colleagues, Hon. Susana De Leon, SGC President, our newly elected SPTA
President, Mr. Arnold Agraan, teachers, friends, and our debutant, Ma’am Evelyn M. Agron.

Honorable guests, ladies and gentlemen without further ado, now let us lend our ears and open our hearts to
our Senior High School Coordinator, Sir German Soriano, in his welcome lines. Let’s give him a round of
applause.

Words are powerful. They live forever and have the power to truly guide us and impact us in our lives. May I
now call upon Hon. Morris G. Aliman for his tribute message

Let us all welcome, Hon. Susana De Leon, SGC President and Brgy. Chairperson of Annayatan, for her message.

Now. May we listen to our very own SPTA President, Hon, Arnold Agraan. Let us give him a round of applause.

At this point, may we all witness an intermission number prepared by our selected Grade 10 students.

Feelings aren’t ‘wrong’ or ‘right’, ‘bad’ or ‘good’. Feelings just are. They may forget what you said, but they will
not forget how you made them feel. At this point may we listen to our SSG President, Jamaica Duca, for her
message.

Now, may we listen to our Junior High School Coordinator, Ma’am Jessie L. Miguel, for her message.

May we call on our very own, Faculty Association President and SBM Coordinator, Ma’am Bernadette Daquioag,
for her message.

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step” says Lao Tzu. As you are ready to set start a brand-new
journey of your life, who better to guide you than our Dear Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Ralph Bona.
Sir.
At this point ladies and gentlemen, please lend me your ears for these very important declarations about our
HONOREE… A woman of virtue and simplicity… A woman of perseverance and hard work… The living idiom of
a woman who happened to be born at the right time and at the right place… This woman of the hour is a woman
incomparable to her genuine intentions to fulfill her chosen vocation as a devoted educator and a dedicated
public servant. And now, friends, ladies and gentlemen, please join us in welcoming our honoree… The
embodiment of a true supermaam and a superwoman in her generation… Our HONOREE…Madam Evelyn M.
Agron, for her response.

Before we proceed to the giving of tokens, may we have first the awarding of Project SAGIP recipients. With the
purpose of addressing the challenges of the swelling number of dropout rates, the Hacienda-Intal National High
School Faculty Association initiated by Mrs. Bernadette Daquioag, faculty president, launched the PROJECT
SAGIP (Selfless Assistance and Generosity for the Indigent but Persevering Learners) on March 23, 2022.

This is in connection with the study conducted by the BORGEN Project in 2021 in which it was found that
Philippines was recorded to have the highest drop-out rate among all the ASEAN countries.

Figures show that Philippines has 6.38% drop-out rate in the elementary level and 7.82% in the secondary
level despite the fact that public education is free from primary to secondary.

In the local setting, HINHS was recorded to have 24 drop-out students in the S.Y. 2020-2021, hence, the
conception of the project.
