0 Scope
Contractor shall supply all necessary supervision, labour, approved equipment (including standard safety
equipment and personal protective equipment [PPE]), tools, consumables, transport on and off site of own
material and personnel, perform the required inspections, quality control, and each and every item of expense
necessary for the supply of a comprehensive spring hangers services to Units at ORYX GTL.
The Contractor shall provide and perform the following:
1) Online Inspection (hot condition) as mentioned in the maintenance strategy document MORL-MS-0092 point
#1.00, # 3.00
2) Online recording (hot condition) of measurement as per the maintenance strategy document MORL-MS-0092
point# 2.00
3) Offline inspection (cold condition) as mentioned in the maintenance strategy document MORL-MS-0092 point
#1.00, # 3.00
4) Offline recording (cold condition) of measurement as per the maintenance strategy document MORL-MS-0092
point# 2.00
5) Examination and adjusting of the calibration position to meet the real calibration position before starting phase
and when reach the operative temperature
6) Evaluate the recordings and provide report with recommendations for corrective action if any.
7) Removal and replacement of any defective spring hangers.
8) Testing of the corrected spring hangers and calibration on a test bench and provide test certificate.
9) Servicing, adjusting and repair of spring hangers by personnel qualified to perform such activities
10) Highlight and identify any installed spring hangers that may be discovered and are not listed in the attached
annexure
11) The contractor shall be capable to Service, Adjust, Repair and Calibrate different Brands spring hangers, such
as CASTIM 2000 and LISEGA brands.
12) The contractor shall capable to Service, Adjust, Repair and Calibrate different models spring hangers, such as
constant and variable spring hangers.
Detailed Scope of Work:

The Contractor shall provide the details of any access, insulation and painting requirements (AIP) during the
preliminary visit for each spring hangers. The access requirement shall be effectively communicated to the
responsible mechanical supervisor.
After online inspection/recordings, a detailed report shall be submitted outlining the spring hangers that will
require calibration during a planned factory turnaround.
After completing the offline inspection (i.e during factory turnaround) and after Calibration of any spring hangers,
a detailed report and conformance certificate shall be issued to provide assurance of safe and reliable operation of
the spring hangers. This report shall be approved by Competent Specialist from the Contractor’s Company
The Contractor shall maintain and submit the database of collected data / information in an excel format for record
keeping purposes. The database shall include at least the following information: Tag number, intended load,
Travel and direction of travel, Type of spring hanger, thread form and the hydraulic test load where applicable.
The list of spring hangers attached is a tentative list and list might be revised (addition / deletion) based on site
requirements.
The Contractor shall provide guidance towards the reinstallation of spring hangers as not to cause an imbalance of
the line.
The Contractor may be required as a Subject Matter Expert when conducting RCA’s on relevant equipment.
The Contractor shall be responsible to prepare Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Method Statement and Design (if
required) prior to start any work; as necessary. Only after approval of the same from ORYX GTL, the specific
work can be commenced.
All works carried out by the CONTRACTOR must conform to the specified standards. Any work not conforming
to set quality standards; shall be removed and replaced at the Contractor’s expense.
All equipment provided shall conform to the relevant ORYX GTL Safety Standards and shall be certified by
ORYX GTL HSE Department.
CONTRACTOR shall have well equipped workshop facility with all necessary tools required for servicing, testing,
calibrating spring hangers.
